Won't be much left of Valencia after this summer will there? Villa, Silva and Mata already gone.

      :-\?

Johnson and Silva can play on either wing and Silva can also play as a support striker.

I can see him dropping him though.  :(

Apparently Spanish media reported it a few days ago that they bought him for 20 million euros and he signed a 5 year contract, to replace Henry on the left. Don't think it has been confirmed by Barcelona yet or anything, probably waiting till after the World Cup. Ofcourse it could all be bullshit, but Valencia does seem to be having a clear out.

F**k me with Woy in charge I'm already fearing the city away game all ready. But then he usually plays 10 men behind the ball away from home.

I can't beleive that Silva has gone to city. I would have loved himat Anfield he would have a been an ideal signing for us along with mata from valencia but then again man city have spent more on one player already than we have in our whole transfer budget currently of £0m, and we are supposed to be a BIGGER club than them.  :-\

      De Jong Barry

         David Silva

      Tevez Adebayor

Wonder if it'll be something like that.

Thats what happens when you have owners like we have and owners like City have, they just shell out the money, our owners talk about how they will shell out the money without doing F**k all, unless of course that player is called Snoogy Doogy!!

      Exactly.

I thought he would come here seeing we are a bigger team with his Spanish mates and all. We may not have Champions League, neither do Man City. Okay, we may not have the money as well but he could have chosen to stay at Valencia.

I have no problem with a player moving, unless he screws over his previous club.  This depresses me, for it means at the moment I feel sympathy for the bitter half (third..quarter..whatever) of the City over the Gosling debacle.  :f_tongueincheek:

What's the point in that? Hardly going to be good for team morale when Paul predicts against them every week.

Are they really building a good TEAM though? I don't think there is a realistic aim as to what formation/players/philosophy should be used. Its an English version of Real Madrid, buy several players for the same position and throw a team together, I wouldn't be surprised if Man City went the whole season with a starting XI different to the previous match, with maybe a few players playing every game, but too much rotation (far worse than what rafa was being criticized for early in his reign with us...wrongly in my view). I don't think there is any real goal to man citys project, they're seeing what players can and can't be bribed by money and working a lottery type system of throwing a team together and hoping they play well enough to win a trophy. Can't see it happening as other teams will be far more organised over the whole season.
