Game over - Ruud's already on his way to Hamburg! I've got that "breaking news" from German newspapers...The medical and presentation should be done at the weekend...HSV Hamburg get him on a free transfer and van Horseface accepted a huge pay cut of his wages....

That might not be exactly true, it's certainly not what dutch media are reporting. He is in negotiations with HSV, but not for a free transfer, a loan for the rest of the season and then possibly a free transfer next summer when his contract has run out. But West Ham are still in the picture too, apparently they're offering a 114.000 euro a week wages. Does seems very likely we won't see him coming here then though.

This can be closed now, he signed for HSV untill the end of next season.
