We have just got to hope that the players realise that and start earning their wages by playing winning football.

We can still win it, if we can win this game it's clear  that we have enough arms to win it.
I believe that once again the victory of the Cup will depend very much on Gerrard: I suspect him of producing some wonderful performances we know, shall we win vs Zenit. Although Suarez is word class, Gerrard has the guts, experience and ability that only few players in the world can have in such important games. If there is a player which can win a European Cup almost on his own its our captain!

The other players(Sterling, Suarez and Downing) just need to score the goals if the opportunities are there. I don't see any of them being really impressive in Europe.

i feel like we will be 2-0 an hour in. back at square one. then hopefully we snag the win and we're into the last 16.

It's a shame we didn't sign Sturridge in the summer, if for no other reason than that he cannot play in the Europa League for us.  We are a much more threatening team with him in the side.  Even so, we need to go for the win with what we've got....

This will be a game to see if some of the lads have the courage to be winners.  We know Stevie and Jaime have it, but let's see if the others come with a fire in their bellies. 

Will be a big help if the crowd gets right behind them from the start as well!!!

I'm definitely one that cares which is why I was in such a mood after Thursday night.

Got over that now, helped greatly by yesterday, and am actually looking forward to another big European night at Anfield. As someone posted the other day, I think it was DLS, we have absolutely nothing to lose so I want to see or most attacking line up possible and really have a right go at this.

Only wish I was able to go as origianlly planned but the TV will have to do.

While I think the odds of us getting through are now massive and don't realistically expect us to, I'll be cheering us on like a madman as always and while there's hope I'll always cling to it.
