So, the next round of Champions League will be full of some shitte clubs like Lion, Fiorentina, maybe Stutgart, Inter, Standard, Unirea maybe. So, give me a break will ya!

Withouth Liverpool, it will be boring thill the end.

It start to remaind me on this season when we have a boring final game between Monaco and Porto.

Liverpool always gave the quality + to the Champions League. To every competution. Something heroic. Something to remember.

Inspiration for the next generation of fans and players.

So, I dont' give a F**k for this Champions League season.

      Best wishes for Olympiacos FC!

Liverpool will be back in the next season.

Gerrard will lift that trophy again!

      Youl'll never walk alone!

Best regards and support from Belgrade (Serbia) from Red Star and Liverpool fan!

We are all red and white!

Must be mistaken then! Hope that Aquilani not playing the whole 90 minutes means he will get a game on Sunday.

Definately a better option up front than Kuyt of Voronin at the moment. Deffo should get more first team time.

Well so be it but we need to get behind the team anyway.  We need to get strengthening in January to help us on the Europa front as well from January.  To be fair the goal resulted from a mistake but Agger/Skrtel didn't work and I'd rather Rafa did that in a match that didn't matter than Sunday for instance!

15 minutes. A few very good touches and almost a stunner of a goal from the edge of the area with his first touch. Frey pulled a save right out of the arsiest of arses.

I actually enjoyed the game today, seeing some of the kids play so well, seeing Torres back in absolutely droolingly good shape, PACHECO! Love the lad already.

Pacheco and Torres for strike partner, number one! Meh. No protests though, I thought that was weird. Its not like SOS are going to get anything started against Le Arse.

Dissappointed by that last minute goal tonight and i felt sorry for young Darby for an error leading to the goal ,but Darby can hold his head high tonight because it was just inexperience and he'll get better,Liked what i saw of Aquilani, good movement and glimpses of his obvious talent ,he got tired due to lack of match fitness which showed in the second half,i'm dying to see what the team is like with Torres ,Gerrard,Aquilani , all fit and playing ,Pacheco was impressive when he came on ,very keen and willing ,lots of positives from tonight Dossena being one Cavalieri another ,Bearing in mind that Fiorentina are a top side i thought we improved tonight

Should play more from now on. He has developed for a couple years now with us, he is at the stage where we can test him in the big time, and he showed us today. I think he could potentially be like a January signing if we start giving him some more opportunities and he plays well, could be the catalyst to some quality results for us.

And PACHECOOOOOOOOOO is awesome to shout when he scores too, reason enough i think :D

      Thanks RedLFCBlood!

tezmac, I totally understand what you trying to say, I also understand all dissapointed Liverpool fans, I was also piss off when I'm thinking for example where is now my Red Star (Belgrade). Nowhere!

But, 1999. Red Star won the European cup. And that is for ever!

So, Red Star is still better then Chelsea FC for example :) And will be better! For ever!

This season in the CL is not good for Liverpool.

But, when they come back, it will be again season to remember.

Hope that this season in the Europa League for Liverpool will be something to remember.

Best wishes for Liverpool in the Premier League!

Could not watch this game had to be in the office at 6am for a meeting, so cant really comment.

It was good to hear  Aquilani get some more minutes and Torres back on the pitch as well and Pacheco given an opportunity.

Always dissapointing and disheartening for the fans to lose at Anfield.

But onwards and upwards from here!

Dossena, Cav, Masch and Gerrard were very good tonight. Dossena offered more from the wing in 90 minutes than Riera, Kuyt and Babel have all season.

Aquilani was OK, some good touches and passes but also some very sloppy ones that can't be blamed on match fitness. He's only going to get better though.

Pacheco caused them problems which was good to see, bright future for the lad.

Lots of plus points tonight: Cav, Mascherano, Gerrard getting back to best and seeing his hard work at set-pieces in training pay off, Aquilani playing 75, Torres returning and looking fired up, Yossi scoring a good header, Pacheco impressing and Dossena playing well down that left side.

We didn't deserve to lose tonight but that's how it goes sometimes.

On to Sunday we go. YNWA

Pretty fair summing up - on the negative Insua was outpaced again I think he needs a rest.

Ok Reds CL is over but we have a PL campaign now and have to kick-on to 4th or better.

      Only saw ITV highlights.

Highlights were crap, but Pacheco looked immense from the one clip that was shown of him, and Stevie was involved in everything.

Shame about the defending, Darby gave the ball away, might be inexperienced, but that was basic, just put it out of play! And Insua left Gilardino, he was his man, I'm pretty sure!
