Wigan at home he will still have time on the ball, they will come for a draw just like every other small club does at Anfield. They will sit 11 men behind the ball giving our back 4 and 2 central midfielders all the time in the world on the ball.

Tonight you would see Aquilani's class if he plays, whether he can pick out a killer pass etc.

Anyways, as we all no, tonight is a must win. I'm not looking at Chelsea and Utd anymore, I accepted this won't be our season a long time ago and therefore the title race is between them 2.

We have to keep pace with City, Villa and Arsenal. If them three go on a long decent run, then we could be goosed with the form were currently on. We always come good at the end of the season so if were still in the mix with them then im confident we will get a top 4 finish. 

Wigan at home on paper is a home win 99 times out of 100. So come on red men lets get some points on the board. 8th in the table in mid december simply isn't good enough.

Aquilani should have started against Arsenal at home he would have had more time on the ball but against Wigan he will have f**k all and have his ankle f**king clipped all game... Anything less than 9 goals is a failure....

Go back to sleep. Obviously having the win the primary target for this match. I would highlight that getting 9 goals would do a real wonder for our goal difference and confidence. Plus I am sure Torres would have shooted up the golden boot's table.

For me this is all about our second half, maintaining a certain instensity through not running out of steam. For them to exploit.

Got a birthday dinner to go to tonight so I'm gonna miss the match.  I'm gonna try and do something I've never done before though...watch Match of the Day without knowing the score beforehand.  Actually looking forward to it if someone doesn't spoil the result for me.

Even though confidence is low, we should have more than enough to beat a very inconsistant Wigan side.  Some players need a good kick up the ass and up their game hopefully led by captain fantastic staying on his bloody feet.  If he leads from the front it should lift the rest of the team to get a result tonight!

Im really up for tonight, after the Arsenal game I was very very upset and pissed off (not exactly the first time this year). But ive gotten over it now and all the confidence and trust I have in the team is back. I really think we can start to turn it around, we're Liverpool, we never give in. But also we never like to do stuff the easy way, e.g the whole Champions League campaign in 2004-05 & FA Cup final '06.

I also want Torres to notch a few goals tonight, it would do wonders for his confidence but I think it will also pass through the team, the rest of the players will start thinking Nando is back and he will get us the goals as long as we give him the ball.

Come on lads!

Come on lads, the chance to start a winning run to get us back into contention. Let's put all our bad luck behind us and get the good luck we so fully deserve. I have absolutely no idea how this match is going to pan out actually.

Like I've said before, Wigan really can't be predicted.

I would say Rodallega and Scharner are the ones to keep an eye on (if Scharner plays behind the striker that is). Another surprise one is actually Boyce - hasn't he already got 3 goals this season? Need to keep an eye on him from set pieces. Watched that Diame the other day, he doesn't seem a bad player at all, then again they were playing against Stoke!

They should be ours for the taking though hopefully, we just can't afford to drop more points yet again.

I've been wondering too? Can anyone confirm if we are on the tele? Hope so, I hate watching streams.

I think one fascinating point to this season is that were still a top 5 goal scoring club in the league. Before Yesterdays match Man U only had a 2 goal lead on us.  I just think thats a stat which really sticks out for us.  It seems were getting goals but not when we need them.  Its just odd.

Nope lads, this one aint on TV. Which is a bugger because I also hate watching crusty streams.

Nope it's the City v Spurs game thats on. MsG do you use sopcast at all? The streams are always perfect on that.
