Well, who saw that coming? No Johnson, Torres dropped to the bench as well as Lucas but it isn't Aquilani to come in, it's Aurelio. Amazing.

As Rafa would describe it, 'our seasons starts now'. Would be nice to win this for a change, that feeling of being disappointed is all to familiar. Wigan are a tough, battling side and if history is to teach us something it is that we could be in for another long day if we don't take an early chance.

Hopefully the men in Red are up for it, and the crowd.

Lucas must be injured. Torres must have struggled playing 90 minutes. I had a thought it was over-playing him on Sunday, but with us 2-1 down Rafa had to leave him on.
