The problem for me is the formation. We played better IMO against Wigan ::) with 4-4-2 We have no width at all with this 4-2-3-1

4-4-2 good enough for Shankly, Paisley, and the King too.

But remember we did have only 10 men for most of the game, and the Ref was a homer.

      Question is:

When do we begin to worry?

      Is it now?

      I'm really beginning to wonder.

That was F***ing shocking. It was always going to be a ridiculous ask when Javier got sent off though.

"1441: We are getting an astonishing amount of messages from Liverpool fans saying this is the straw that broke the camel's back. Reds supporters seem to have turned on Rafael Benitez."

Don't know what to say to that. It's the players that aren't performing.

      Team for next game:
      Reina
      Kelly
      Skrtel
      Ayala
      Aurelio
      Spearing
      Aquilani
      Benayoun
      Eccleston
      Pacheco
      Torres

Wouldn't surprise me if that team went out and battered them, compared to today's lot.

      Exactly.

Look at Chelsea and United - they're putting in the goals and winning games. What do they have? 2 up front.

Even if it was Torres and Kuyt up top - we might actually start putting more goals away then with more of a threat up top.

Something needs to change though. This season has been a bag of sh*t.

And I can't be arsed seeing my team not in the Champions League next season.

If this is just a rough patch then why is it such a long one? I'm feeling like I used to in the Houllier days and that's not good.

      Another sh*t performance.

Ref was nitpicking over certain decisions, but we are playing like a bunch of strangers at the moment!

      Second that mate.

Really, we could have took a load of lads off the Kop, played them against Portsmouth in their current form, and f*cked them.

That's not a bad idea that actually......

Certainly worth a go.  What we're doing at the moment isn't working.

Our defence is absymal. I wouldn't play Kuyt, Insua or Lucas again this season. I'd prefer to see Amoo, Pacheco and Eccelstone play from now till the end of the season. This season is a complete right off we might as well start planning for next season.
