Aiden McGeady (Celtic)

Decent player, but no thankyou for me. In saying that, its not like we are going to get much better with the F***ing yank cu*ts in charge.

He is a top winger for SPL.. but not sure about EPL.. Bit of a sulk though.

A bit too light-weight for me, wouldn't be keen to be honest. 

Don't think the hoops would sell unless they got a silly offer, and as we all know, we are in no position to be putting in silly offers

Exactly, which is why i wouldn't be keen, and if he was near them 3.....we couldn't afford him anyway 

Not bad at taking players on but his final ball leaves a lot to be desired.

spoke to a celtic fan today who rates him as irish ryan giggs, an out n out winger with pace..

You would think we were loaded down with wingers, let's swop him for some of our none entities, but why does he want to leave Celtic or, why do Celtic want to sell him, but, they sold 'King Kenny' to us, so who knows.

He would just be another Pennant IMO, Class in scotland but come on its scottish football its awful.

Problem is that he plays against the SPL standard week after week. Never seen him play well against a good team (i.e he's always bollocks for Ireland)

We know it doesnt need to be highlighted, Also McGeady is great. A player we so badly lack.

I remember a certain K Dalglish playing in a inferior league than the epl, And until 1977 not many had praised his ability, Mcgeady is an irish international and IMO is wasted at celtic, I would love to see him bomb up and down the left flank and send crosses into Nando, Wow! i'm getting a semi just thinking about it....Go get him Rafa!!

I'm Irish seen a lot of McGeady I would prefer Turan to be honest he has a much better final ball, a lot of the time McGeady runs down blind alleys and while he is a good dribbler on to many occasions his final ball is not good enough.

 To be honest as well this aspect of his game has not improved over the last couple of years. He reminds me a bit of Pennant with a better attitude.

Im irish too and dont rate him on intl level anyways. Maybe the gamble would pay off but cant see it working out at the level of LFC. Id rather stick with Babel to be honest rather than give playing time to McGeady..

As a Red living in Glasgow ive seen a lot of McGeady. He is a stand out in the SPL and anyone who suggests otherwise is talking nonsense.
An old fashioned winger who goes past people for fun and scores some pretty outstanding goals.

Thats the positives out the way. IMO theres NO way hes the standard of player we should be looking at. Yes he is good in the SPL but the standard up here is unbelievably sh*te!!!

Maybe a Birmingham would be his level and would prob do ok for them, but fior us he would be no more than a Pennant as someone has already said.
