Gerrard has scored more against Villa than anyone else. Is he to to continue this trend tonight?

Plus Nando only needs one more goal to crack the fastest 50 for Liverpool...

      Hope so and hope so!

      On TV aswell, can't wait.

Happy Birthday hardcore soldier!!  Best of Luck Liverpool!!  Please lets end 2009 in a high!!  Yeaahhhh Babyyyy!!!

Cheers mate. Opened all my presents today, but the biggest present i'll get will be 3 points for my beloved Liverpool. I've even brought my birthday meal forward so i can get home in time for kick off. Aquilani has to start tonight, he showed against Wolves that he can handle the rough stuff, and you can see by the way he approaches the game that he loves to play football. The lad is chomping at the bit and he wants to play every single second. I feel his enthusiasm will rub off on a lot of our players, we need positive players at the moment and he is one of them.

Wouldn't mind if he played Aquilani in the hole and dropped the G back in the middle for this one. With Ashley Young apparently out through suspension, i can't see Villa offering much more than a long ball game. We have to attack, attack and attack. Villa are there for the taking, so let's rip them a new arsehole lads.

I know mate, that nickname is so F***ing cheesy, it makes me physically sick.

Maybe Rafa would start as follows :-

      Reina
      Glen-Carra-Agger-Insua
      Lucas-Aurelio
      Kuyt-Gerrard-Yossi
      Torres

Using Aurelio for me makes us a much more solid team, maybe do this:

      Reina
      Johnson Carra Agger Insua
      Yossi Aquilani Lucas Aurelio
      Gerrard Nando

Bench: El Zhar, Pacheco, N'Gog, Kuyt, Doss and Skrtel?

Any win would be a great result especially against the 'Villa who don't forget beat us at Anfield earlier on in the season. I am not bothered about the scoreline as long as the Reds secure the three points.

INdeed. And I agree, Aquilani should definitely play in the "G-Spot", with Gerrard further back.

      We'll wait and see.

If Alberto isn't fit I think we might go for something like this:

                       Reina

      Johnson Carragher Agger Insua

      Benayoun Gerrard Lucas Aurelio

                  Torres Kuyt
