I have no doubt the guy is very skillful and creative but wasn't he criticized for being overweight and a bit of billy big boots last year?

Would love to see him come after watching him in euro 2008 and europa league a few times. Probally will come in a summer deal I hear but could be agreed in January.

I've seen bits and bobs of him on the telly and I have to say he is the kind of player we need.

He can cross, go around the outside with pace, cut in with trickery, pass well and has a decent shot on him.

Going to be a lot of money to get him though,

He certainly has some talent but watching him constantly try to take everyone on when he should just cross the ball would get annoying.

He certainly has some talent but watching him constantly try to take everyone on when he should just cross the ball would get annoying.

But he has free creative licence at Galatasaray. If he came to us, he would refine that style. Remember what whiskey-nose did with Ronaldo when he was too full of party tricks and not enough substance and effective end product, which helped him become so devestating.

I've been following the Turkish National team all my life, and I can say Arda is the most skilful and exciting Turkish player I've seen in that time. I would absolutely love to see him sign for us. We need his kind of trickery.

What I love about him is that he doesn't have hugely exaggerated body movement, and keeps the ball close to him at all times. Too many players out there try all these flashy moves and knock the ball out to far sometimes and then get robbed. Arda's style is harder to negate because his composed understated body movements are harder to predict. No 'elephant-touches' here.

His comments about us too are great, about how he loves the club culture and the passion of the fans are legendary.

      Here's hoping.

Mata has just signed a contract extension and his manager has said that he would rather keep his best players and have zero transfer budget. It's not looking good in terms of getting Mata.

I dunno saw Ballague interview him a couple of weeks ago and ask him about Liverpool, if I was a Valencia fan I wouldn't be to confident of saying after the Summer the way he answered the question

Valencia are currently £400 million in debt if they fail to get Champions League football this year the manager will have no option.

He looks extremely clever and skillful.

Could do with someone like him here.

      Nothing more on this though?

Not at the moment mate, i think the only solid link is Maxi.. although he does seem to favour Liverpool so if a move happens we should get first shout. Though it seems he wants to win the league with Galatasaray then maybe move in the summer.

I'd settle for that, he really looks the bee's knee's.
