Was watching something the other night about Not The Nine O'Clock News and I've gotta admit it was the best sketch shows although nothing will beat the Two Ronnies in my opinion.
Never really found Morecombe and Wise overly funny though on the odd occasion can make me laugh. Some of Harry Enfield and Chums' characters were funny as F**k such as Wayne and Waynetta, The Scousers but some were just pathetic. Little Britain was alright for the first episode then they just milked it with the same jokes over and over and over again.
Do shows like Dead Ringers, Spitting Image and Alistair McGowan's Big Impression count as sketch shows or are they on their own as impressionist shows? Dead Ringers was a quality show regardless of what subject it's put under.
