mike here, I'm the fella organising this event, thanks very much for your support and interest so far, and cheers especially to the faith healer for starting this thread and for the updates.

He's done this on other sites / groups too that I haven't got round to joining.

Loads and loads of publicity gone into this event, really given it the works and hopefully the turn out will reflect that.

The Regency is a brilliant venue, which holds 300 people, so should make for a great night. Also playing a few numbers will be Andrew Coleman, Andrew is a devout red who plays for a Liverpool disabled team (he's visually impaired )

He was almost late for a gig at the Adelphi last week cos he was at the city game!!

Below is some info about him.

Tickets by the way for this event will be available on the night, but to guarantee getting one and you can't make the HJC shop to buy them in person, you can buy / reserve them directly from me or from The Regency itself.

      ( mike:dandy.77@hotmail.co.uk / 07530448078 )

Very pleased to announce that Andrew Coleman, a local young singer songwriter will be playing at this event too.

Biography for Andrew Coleman 9.7.85 Performing since the age of 12, Andrews television appearances include ITVs Talent of Tomorrow, 1998, Michael Barrymores show My Kind of Music 1999, the BBC 1 show ’The Next Big Thing’, 2002. In August 2002 Andrew progressed to the second day of the London stages of Popstars the Rival. He was then rejected. In October 2002 Andrew was interviewed on the Radio 4 show ’In Touch’, meeting multi?platinum record producer Robin Millar and since than they have been working together producing some master tracks. In December 2004 Andrew appeared at The Royal Albert Hall. He performed two of his own songs for the UNHCR concert for the Darfur refugees. Andrew performed All It Takes Is Love a song, which Andrew wrote through the eyes of a refugee. Playing piano while being accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic orchestra. He appeared alongside well known stars such as Mick Hucknell, Chrissie Hynde and Alsion Moyet just to mention a few.

Cheers for the info Mike and nice one for joining up. You're spot on about The Faith Healer, he's very helpful and it's appreciated a lot.

Well done for organising this event. Looking forward to a great night down the Regency and raising some money for the HJC.

Met Phil Thompson today through my kid brother who knows him, great to meet such a legend, and he seems like a cracking fella.

Hate doing all the 'will you sign this for us mate ' routine (especially in a crowded restaurant!) but Phil was only too pleased to sign 4 items for the raffle / auction at next weeks HJC Fundraiser.

He signed a minature LFC casey, a big hard backed LFC Hall of Fame book, a Justice Call poetry book and a ticket for the event, which I got framed just now.

Got a few bits and pieces to lob in the hat Mike.

The HJC have never received a single item Liverpool FC, only from you the supporters who care about our 96 brothers and sisters who never made it out that day.

LFC.TV have been very supportive, and we thank them for their support.

      JUSTICE for all.

      ^^

Think around 130 tickets (inc reserves) so far, it got a good mention in tonights Echo as well, could be loads just turning up we don't know about it as well.

Getting a Gerrard signed armband as well to auction/ raffle & a Barnes 1992 Englan jersey (unworn though) amonsgt other things, all donated by fans of course, the club didn't want to know.

Looking forward to this as well myself.

Really doesn't surprise me, heard a couple of times of how the club fail to even acknowledge the HJC, which imo is an absolute disgrace.

Need to meet somewhere central for this one guys, as I've got all the tickets  ;D

MsG is staying at the Stag & Rainbow, so thought it might be an idea to meet there about 7 ish ??  Is everyone okay with that?  Or do you all want to meet in Old Swan? The nearest pubs would probably be The White House on the corner of Broadgreen Road or the Red House on the opposite corner ??  (The Red House has got the best beer)   ;)

      Let us know guys  ;D

That's because our club treats fans like sh*t unfortunately. As much as I love our club, that's the way it is. It's only interested in getting money from the fans and not doing anything for us in return.
