Gutted about Maxi leaving.

That 5-2 away at Fulham last season was one of my favorite matches that I've ever seen us play in the league.  The football we played after Kenny came back in 2011 was almost from another planet.  We were exciting to watch, and Maxi was lighting it up with his goals and hat tricks.  That game at Fulham we were unstoppable, passing around everyone, playing long, short, playing crosses, headers, it was perfection.  When Maxi took the ball for that last shot and the traveling Kop all started yelling "shoooooooooot!" and you saw him pull the trigger and sail it past Schwarzer.... gave me a chill.  And then his song.  Oh his song...

Actually, one of my favorite moments of that match was this pass from Shelvey to Suarez:

He played really well that match, and that pass was just pure class.  Was really excited to see him get more time this season.

That was the promise of what was supposed to be last season.  Then we went and ripped up that team and brought in mediocrity.  I'll never know why.

Quality little player.

Respect back at you for showing us respect and for not throwing your dummy out when the King never played you.

One of those players for whom things seemed to often happen when he was playing (unlike some who got more time than him).  Thought he may of fitted into the BR style of play, but good luck to him.

Good luck Maxi. Should have had more games.Touched by the letter, he knew what it meant to wear the shirt.

Almost certain his departure was confirmed at the start of last season. Remember reading his club announcing they would sign him for next season.

Best wishes to Maxi, served the club well as a squad player, probably should have had more opportunities to play in the side. Anyhow good luck for the future.

Well done to him ,even when under used he didnt make waves ,enjoy the rest of your career.

Much respect to Maxi, he always tried his hardest when wearing the red shirt, he always reminded me of Luis Garcia, he was only one of very few players who could come on and turn a game for you, much like Garcia, a bit of an unsung hero for me, you never saw any scandal about him, he just got on and did what he did best.

Loved his song, shall miss singing that, pleased to see it meant so much to him.
