At the outset of the article it states that the injuries to Gerrard,Torres and Benayoun will put pressure on the manager???
They surely will in the eyes of the hovering vultures that is the media and the topple LFC brigade but anyone with an iota of rationale will view these misfortunes as nothing remotely connected to his proven managerial skills.
Skills which are toothless when he is forced to replace quality with the bargain(?) signings he has been forced to make.

Don't think it was in actual reference to the Juventus job actually.

He said, 'I would like to coach in England again'.

If I'm being honest if Rafa left then he's the top man for the job.

      Agree.

Russia may have been knocked out of the WC already (I know, it hasn't even started yet), but he did a fantastic job with Chelsea.

He really got their ball rolling - and look at the result they had against us at Anfield when we were on form, 3-1. Pretty amazing if you ask me.

Top man, top manager. But I really do hope Rafa doesn't leave.

Perhaps it is time for a change. We are playing kick and run football which looks amateurish and does not fit the profile of such a great club. The look of despair on the faces of Torres and Gerrard says it all. Even die hard LFC supporters must surely question what is happening. We seemed to play a better game in the second half against Reading, with a more determined attack minded attitude, but still struggled. I'm a die hard fan, but this situation has to be turned around before we become stragglers in the table. Yes, it is only one bad season but can anyone see a way out with the current set-up? The players hold some responsibility but tactically we are lost. Now that there are so many 'key' players out, where is the strength of the reserve squad?. Most other clubs have second squads that would give us a run for our money!!.

The manager has to contemplate loan deals, sell to buy and fight off wolves intent on bringing him down. Given that scenario there might be a slight weakness in the reserve squad but apart from having a whip round or the manager buying players out of his own pocket there does not seem to be a ready solution.
Incidently that is a remarkably negative post to open your account.
