I was looking forward to seeing some youth in the line-up, but it hasn't happened.

Either way, I'm worried.

If Riera, Alberto and Maxi were on the pitch it's unbelievable how much more confident I'd be.

Stoke are going to see that line-up and think... these are ours.

One positive.

We have three very creative players on the bench.

The negative - they're on the F***ing bench.

Interesting stuff. Think only reason why Kyrgiakos is playing is due to his height so may help us for Delap throwings. In terms of Maxi, i had to look at the squad twice to work out that he was actually in it nearly had a heart-attack.

Same reaction here, and I'm gutted. I thought we'd have the chance to see Pacheco start, maybe even Amoo and Eccleston.

Give them a chance to prove their worth, plus they'd be unknown quantities to the likes of Stoke, we could have surprised them.

I just hope they don't nick an early goal, I can't see this team chasing the win.

I can't believe Aqualani has been left out.

I didn't want to see Kuyt and Insua on the team, would have preferred Maxi on the right, Aurelio as LB and possibly Babel on the left.

One of the only good things to take out of the Reading game was that Degan is actually starting to perform, and for that I think his place in the 11 is justified.

Tell you what though, Riera, Maxi and Aquilani as a triple substitution... Stoke would be quivering in their boots!

Not surprised to see Aurelio on the left wing.  Who else was really going to go there. If Degen is in midfield he may be better there than defending.
