Pro Evolution Soccer 5

Anyone else play this? Best footy game out there by a mile.

yeah mate it is an awesome game

Thought it was a good game but still like the fifa games better apart from the bloody free kicks and corners a right pain in the arse.

is it just me or is this much harder than pro evo 4?

it is i can go 6 star on pes 4 and win easily! pes 5 i can barely go 4 star!

PE5 is quality but more of a serious game,

For pure fun and a laugh with your mates try sensible world of soccer 2006!!! just been released on the ps2 and it quality,.......

pro evolution 5 is truly the greatest game its fair to say that i am the stevie-G of that game

brilliant game just got confused with the controls im used to the fifa ones

if the shooting was like fifa 2006 it would be the best footie game ever,i dont play fifa like i do like the game sometimes but pro ev 5 is just waaaaaaay better. plus on pro ev 5 they dont half toey bang the ball alot

The worst thing about PES5 is the referees. They are awful...especially on level 6. It seems that every time you tackle them, they get a free kick, they are then free to batter you all over the place and play goes on.

I haven't played FIFA since "The Road to The World Cup '98". That was when i first met ISS, from then on, i was hooked.

The other annoying thing is the offsides, always 100% perfect. Some of them, a millimetre of your airborne running leg is ofside and a linesman spots it from 50 yards away, bollocks.

For the Playstation, take your memory card to your nearest games shop and ask them for the PES5 update. That will give all the proper kits and players (as close as the game can). If i remember rightly, I got mine done before crouch came and for some reason Diouf was still in my squad, but you can sort that out anyway (if you want to, he is quality on the game for some reason).

If you have it on PC go to http://www.pesfan.com, you can download a whole host of good stuff from there, official kits, realistic looking players, proper balls, better ref kits, more stadiums, championship teams, almost everything.

compared to the graphics for fifa world cup on the xbox 360 it is sh*t the goals u can score are better and the players look real life (well apart from micheal carrick)

I dont know how anyone can say fifa is better then pro evo, the gameplay is amazing but the only thing is the referees i'll give you that, cant wait untill pro evo 6

The offsides irritate me massively. Sometimes I'll make an unbelieveably good run and get pulled off cos one strand of my forward's hair was past the last defender when the ball was played. Bloody irritating.

I get paid to play it in a youth centre on Scotty road, as well as beating kids at heads an volleys an skittin the Bluenose kids, sayin they're goin no-where haha

Last night i played Pro Evo 5, yes i have not got 6... yet, but anyway i was France & i played against Brazil.

I played a 15minute match on 6 stars and guess what... i thrashed them 4 - 0.. Henry hatrick & Guily goal

But i will agree that one little nudge on them and they have a free kick but they seem to be able to batter you without getting a free kick from it. The Ref is the downside of the game along with the common sencem of the players making offside runs when they are at the other end of the pitch and there is no way to pass to them! All from that it can be a great game especially when your playing a mate at it
