From the BBC "Robbie Keane is in a familiar role - on the bench at Anfield." ;D

      :D

Must be Crouch and Defoe then

      OK team at best.

1-0 the Reds still, Pacheco last minute goal.

      :lmao: :lmao: That's brilliant.

Looking at the Spurs team, i'm disappointed Maxi wont start against Gareth Bale. And Ledley King is back from injury so another player to target in their defence.

In attack they worry me with Kranjcar, Crouch, Mdoric and Defoe. Hopefully they don't have that much success on the counter and Lucas/Mascherano are on song.

Not a bad bench tbh, Babel and Pacheco could come on and go upfront and run rings around their defence.

Wasn't this game moved back 15 minutes to 7:45? Or was it the other way around?

Is it still true that Bale has never started in a game that Spurs have won?

      Hopefully that continues tonight.

      Knowing our bad fortune? :(.

I have put a bet on 3-1 to us and Degen 1st goal.  250/1

wow... personally, i think this team is terrible, of course, i wont be saying that if we win

but, we need goals..... where is the speed coming from?

spurs are a fast team, i don't know where our speed is going to come from

i mean, i think Ngog, should play this game. I mean, he's the only true striker left in our squad. i wish rafa would show a little more faith in him

I sometimes think that Rafa doesn't want to win games.
      Lineup is too defensive.

Did you call Ngog a striker? Did you watch the Stoke game?

Best of a bad situation, you can call it. Thats nearly our strongest side. You could maybe put in Aurelio for Insua but other than that, we have no other option.

I just hope Dirk realises he is the only striker, so he stays in the bloody box!

You are only as good as your last game and N'Gog was useless against Stoke. Couldn't even control the ball. I am not surprised he is dropped. Yes we need pace but we also need ability.

We all knew it would be a weakened side, can't be helped.

Don't know why but I just have a feeling we'll thump them, haven't felt that in ages, and it's totally irrational based on our form.

But I'll go with my gut. 4-1 to the Reds.
i hope your guts right, cmon you reds.

Well I was unsure about a victory and damage limitation was on my mind, but lets get amongst these fuckers and take 3 points we need it more than ever.

      Know exactly what you mean.

I hope he stays up there too.

Doesn't need to be running back and winning things in this game.

But with Maxi finding his feet, i suppose you can see why he isn't starting.

Sad day at Liverpool when your choosing a striker who isn't going to be as bad as the other.
