They were lucky we didn't put a fair few more of our chances in.

      Should have been minimum 4-0.

Kuyt and Kyrgiakos missed sitters, and I distinctly remember Kuyt missing another one or two good chances, never mind N'Gog nearly scoring and Degen getting a nosebleed when Kuyt put him through.

We were missing countless players, didn't even play to our full potential, and we were by far the better side.

      Sweet. Very sweet.

Well in, Redmen. Blue collar performance and a good result.

Dirk Kuyt was good today, except in front of goal. He should have had 4. N'Gog made a big difference when he came on, keep up the good work Davey lad. Sotis had another good game, i'm starting to warm to him. No nonsense defender, good in the air.

Masch and Lucas had a good game in the center of the park, as did Aquilani.

Let's hope we push on from here!

Who do you fault on a day like this?

Not the crowd, not the players, not the manager, not the coaches. From Pepe to Ngog, every red played his heart out and that 2-0 is long overdue and well bloody deserved!

      Top result that.

Excellent, rock solid performance all round and this'll give us some much needed confidence.

Alberto Aquilani was my man of the match closely followed by Sotiris Kyrgiakos and Dirk Kuyt.

hats off to the team, they put in a performance tonight. Masch is vital to this team. well done to Ngog did well when he came on.
Happy for Dirk tonight, have criticised him in recent weeks but he was great.

Bloomin' 'eck! Best I've seen us play for a while. Could've been about 5-0. N'gog did fantastically well when he came on. Kuyt should've had four.

We need to kick on from this. Beating a rival for fourth without five first eleven players can only give the lads confidence.

Kyrgiakos dealt with Crouch really well too.
