      Dirk Kuyt (Juventus)
      Jan 27, 2010 06:07:14 pm
Dirk Kuyt knows nothing about a possible move to Juventus, his agent Robert Jansen has claimed.

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has recently been tipped to take over at Juve with current boss Ciro Ferrera severely under pressure after a number of lacklustre displays.

The reports have sparked rumours over which players could join the Spaniard if he moves to Italy and Kuyt has seen his name linked with the Old Lady.

However the forward, who Benitez bought for £9million from Feyenoord in summer 2006, is happy at Anfield, according to Jansen.

"I know nothing of Juventus' interest," he told Calciomercato.it.

"No-one has contacted us at the moment. He is now happy at Liverpool where he has two more years of his contract left."

With Benitez refusing to rule out a switch to Serie A after his side's 0-0 draw with Wolves on Tuesday, Jansen took a similar stance with Kuyt.

"The relationship with Benitez is excellent," he added.

"If Dirk could follow Rafa when he becomes the next coach of Juventus? I don't know. I cannot answer these questions now."

I'd defintely sell Kuyt for the right money, if he left how would his Liverpool career be remembered. Personally I think I would say a hardworker that gave his all but sadly lacking in quality. I wouldn't shed any tears if he left to be honest.

After the way he has played this season I'd happily see him sold. Though he showed last season he showed what he is capable of.

Wont ever happen though because he is one of Rafa's favourites.

I agree with you Kenny he did play well last season but he has not been the same this season. To be fair a lot of our players have been indifferent this season to last season.

but no matter how bad he play, how many mistakes he made he will always be the first player on the team sheet. that is what people hate about the relationship between Rafa and Dirk.

Juve are linked with our manager, players and F**k knows what else because of the uncertainty surrounding their managers future.
The connection has been invented once again by the tabloids in an effort to fill news space, sell copy and make monies on the back of it - consequently it comes under the heading HORSESHIT.

Have to agree with that Stuey mate to be honest, it's just more media stirring to unsettle the players manager and ultimately the club. The press are loving us at the moment and we are not doing ourselves any favours with the way we are playing. :)

Kuyt has looked jaded this season imagine what he is going to look like next season after a World cup, I personally think we have seen the best of Dirk and if the right offer came in in the Summer I'd sell him in an instant.

He has looked equally poor(Ya he got 2 goals against Spurs how many did he miss) whether he has played while he will run all day he is as slow as sh*t, has a poor touch and absolutely no vision. Ya he gives his all for Liverpool but sadly this season it has been far from good enough.

If he went, who would you get for £12-15million.

Come on WHO? You know that the money would go on the debt/expences.

I do not see good players being linked to us, so letting Kuyt go is just plain stupid.

Do you reckon they fancy being linked with our owners? ;)

Alonso had a sh*t season, was linked with these and then came good. Kuyt's simply having a bad time. I wouldn't want to see him sold. He is fully capable of coming good. Even if he is one of Rafa's faves.
