Maybe it was becuase bolton were getting too much of the ball, and he wanted a bit more bite. We are 2 nil up now after the sub. Or maybe Aquilani had a wee knock?
U know rafa always makes subs about that time as well, and Aquilani is still finding his fitnes.
Yeah, maybe.. I dont really think Bolton was being that much of a threat on midfield and I'm not blaming Lucas, I just wanted Aquilani to have more time on the pitch. I mean, he was one of the best players vs Spurs and then he doesnt play vs Wolves. Today he was trying hard (sometimes too hard and making a few mistakes), but had his moments of brilliance, like in the goal, but yet again he is the first player to leave the pitch.
