...and for that very reason, i can see it happening. Our recent signings have all been like for like - Aquilani for Alonso, Johnson for Arbeloa and Sotis for Sami. We haven't added to the squad (in terms of numbers) apart from Maxi. Who would Maxi's 'like for like' be? - Yossi.

Not really, I do find new tea-pots and spoons to be quite useful so its hardly like for like : )

Unfortunately only concrete info we have is that Moscow want to buy and may *possibly* have agreed personal terms. From our end the club have said their not selling but havent heard a peep from the player or his agent which worries me.

Cant see him going in the next 24 hours but wouldnt surprise me if he left in the summer. Played out of position if at all,dropped for a lot the big matches,injury prone,30 in the summer get the money back we paid for him 3 seasons ago..going to club willing to offer a pay increase,as much chance of CL action,closer to Israel,guaranteed starting berth and be valued at the club. Latest gossip today suggests hes angry at being refused a move..

IMO hes quality and it would take a serious replacement we cant afford to fill the void hed leave. As above dont see him going in the next 24hrs but would surprise me if he left in the summer unfortunately especially if we bring in another left sided player or strong attacking option

I think he will go in the Summer though Yossi wants to play regularly in a central role, he is not going to get that at Liverpool. I think Rafa is going to bring a left midfielder in in the Summer and this will mean less play time for Yossi.

I read somewhere that Dinamo Moscow raised their bid to 8mil pound now.
It seems like even though the transfer window closed in England, it is still open until March in Russia so they could still sign him.

I hope Rafa makes it clear he's not for sale.
