Some of them cheeky flicks from stevie in the first half. Pure class.
Shame Ngog couldn't put away his chances when they came.
All round good performance by the lads though. Joy to watch.

      March on!

I know mate. One touch passes that hit their targets, Gerrard doing something positive, a clean sheet, Insua not getting burned constantly, makes me want to vomit.

Kyrgiakos MOTM - easily. Fantastic display and dominated the back four much better than Carra has all season in the middle.

      Well played Mr Hairy.

      MOTM Kyrgiakos for me.

Sotiris stuck his foot in into every challenge, never went in half-heartedly and I think deserves a lot of credit today. He held the centre of the back well, was calm whenever under pressure, and even made a goalline clearance early on in the game that if Chung-Yong scored, we might have not won today.

Credit to you Sotiris, a very dominant performance, calm and confident both in the air and on the ground.

A lot of positives for today, our passing was crisp, one-touch and all. A lot of good chances that it could have been a walloping of 5-0 probably, Ngog wasted lots. Although we started the game slowly we grew with confidence and there was a lot of positivity in the camp.

      Bring on blueshite.

well, quality performance from lads today. Sotis was a f**king boss and won literally ALL the headers. Aquilani was poor and N'Gog showed very promising. completely convincing if you'd ask me

Fooking good game Ngog needs abit more match practice, could have pulled afew back and killed the game but that will come in time .
Kuyt had his usual 100mph game and 110% .Riera was causing trouble which i like .And Stevie looked interested for once .When Nando comes back we are complete again.

Reina 7- didn't have much to do.
Insua 6.5- gets on my nerves sometimes, but his crossing looks pretty good.
Kyrgiakos 8- solid as hell. Extra marks for that clearance.  ;D
      Skrtel- 6
      Carragher 6
Kuyt 8- looked pretty good today.
Riera 7.5- I really think he is the option we have been looking for on the left wing. Just need to bit refining
      Mascherano 6.5
Gerrard 7- looked good today after a long time, got in some shots as well, and could have scored.
      Aquilani 6.5
Ngog 6.5- missed that easy chance, but he always seems hungry for the ball, and his runs are a particular delight.

Whisper this very quietly, but that is Liverpool's first Premier League 'double' over the season.
And that's the first time we have kept 3 cleansheets in a row this season.

Well in lads chuffed that we won much improved a lot more positive going forward welooked so strong and full of ideas we could've been 4-0 winners at the end of that Gerrard and insua i thought played real well and Aquilani thought tried a few different things not all coming off but creating chances which is what we have needed.

Kyrgiakos is fast becoming a cult hero, another great game from him today.  But Mascherano is my MOTM, he was everywhere and dare I say it, a few Alonso-esque passes...great game.  I also must say how well Lucas did when he came on.  For all those bemoaning his arrival, he looked a million times more assured than Aquilani, who I thought had a bit of a stinker apart from the knock down for Kuyt's goal.

Anyway a lot of positives today, Gerrard for one looked a lot hungrier for the ball and his set piece delivery imporved drastically.  Well played lads.

I'd go with that. And he's having some very good games in a row. If he can keep it up, he will have proved to be a much better signing than we thought at first.

i was actually entertained by our footie for a chnage. so refreshing.

      Positives:
great to see gerrard showing signs of what he's capable of.
      Riera looked sharp and dangerous.
Kyriacos...again, man of match for me.
As a team, we were passing a lot more and looked more dangerous.

      Negatives:
Ngog...too many missed chances and miss-placed passes. should not start, doesn't looked finished article.
      Not many negatives :)

      Awesome.

That was brilliant. First time in ages that we've bossed a game and had a strong Defensive showing (bar Spurs :) ).  A great performance from the Reds which everybody put 100 percent in. It was just like last season, and I thought that Rafa's sub of Lucas for Aquilani was a good one. Lucas kept it tight in the midfield and Bolton hardly got out of they're half when he came on.

I dont think I could pick out a bad player for us today, whilst Carragher was awful at defending he got forward a lot to his credit. Everybody did well but the players who stood out for me the most was Sotis, Insua and Kuyt. All had very good games. Insua was motm for me. Considering the stick he's received (deservedly) he put in his best performance in a Reds shirt so far, got forward a lot and put in a few good crosses, also played a part in both goals. The best thing is that he looks solid at the back for a change.

Maxi did pretty well too, has good passing range and it's good to see Gerrard look bothered for once.

Oh and Sotis, what a sexy beast he is. <3

I didn't see much of the game but what i did see i was pleased with, obviously a lot of room for improvement but on the whole they looked a lot better, especially Gerrard. Was mostly impressed with Insua though, he's been getting a rough time lately but i think he defended well and his attacking was much better, he was actually beating his man and getting a good ball in to the box.

Also Sotis, heard he done a goal line clearance so he is upping his good form every game at the moment.

Kyrgiakos and Skrtel are turning in to quite a partnership.

      Bad times for Carr/Agger.

I like the title, its cute. :D

Unbeaten in 6 games now, defence is looking much better as well and i think Kyrgiakos has to take a lot of credit for that.

February is going to be a huge month now and i hope we can keep these sorts of performances going.
