Nirvana Unplugged in New York

Just watching this again now. It's a crime that Courtney Love wouldn't let them release the DVD until last year. I used to play the CD of this on repeat, probably 5 times through every day. It's sublime. Simply fantastic.

Has everyone seen it / heard it?

I love it and have the DVD. It's fantastic from start to finish... and it ends with one of my favourite tracks (Where Did You Sleep Last Night?), brilliant performance by Kurt Cobain, lot of emotion there.


Alice in Chains unplugged is almost as good. Highly recommended too.

Kurt Cobain was wasted. Literally and figuratively. He could have went on to become something totally different. He had it all. When you look at how Dave Grohl looks on the Unplugged DVD, you see how small he looks next to Kurt Cobain's massive aura. And look at how big he is now!

I carved the word 'KURT' into my arm once (almost 15 years ago). And I had a 'K' on my hand. Still got the scars

Love that band, and that unplugged stuff is brilliant. My best mates step-dad saw them live when they were in 'Oz in '92, lucky f**ker!
