I thought Degen was the wrong man to bring on at that time it was 0.0 at the time and the clock was running down and everybody would of been happy to come away with a point, Degen is more like a right winger than a right back so Kelly would of been the better option to sit in and keep it tight , if you look at the goal  Degen switches off allowing Darby a free header on the edge of the six yard box , costly mistake cost us a point .

I thought we played well but I don't understand why Rafa insists on playing Ngog up front in big matches like this. Kuyts record up front speaks for itself. We have enough cover not to stick him on the wing. There is no way on gods earth that we are going to do anything by wasting the talent we have by playing them out of position when we don't need to.

Regardless of how much potential Ngog may be showing, he ain't there yet. And for how bad Babel has played this season - no one in their right mind should be picking Ngog over Babel.

That match was ours for the taking, no disrespect to Rafa (IRIT) but isn't my point obvious? babel on the wing, Kuyt up front why'll Nando's out. Jesus....

We should have got enough players inside their box to create the threat like what the septics and chelski did to them but we chosed to play negatively.

;D kelly is a bad piss head.

Hes out every saturday night in warrington getting smashed. good on him!

Even if he'd gone on the pitch blitzed, he'd have still done a better job than Degen.

We have to change our tactic to:

                                   Reina

      Carra/Kelly     Skrtel   Agger           Insua

                               Masch

                        Gerrard
      Kuyt                                         Maxi/Riera

                       Aquillani

Ngog/Babbel (can provide more than Ngog)

I thought it wasn't a penalty in stoppage time.

Fabregas was standing outside the penalty area.

Bit confused by that Arsenal wall tbh, why didn't it jump? If it had jumped, wouldn't have even needed to cheat. Strange one.

He was on the line of the penalty area.

Well the thing is that Webb probably knows full well where he put the wall originally, and it could have been possibly in the penalty area, now all walls creep closer to the taker, possibly taking them outside the box. Now if Webb sees the handball, it is possible he would have given the penalty as he put the wall originally in the penalty box.

How long does it take to get some technology to assist the visually challenged referees?
Where there are variable factors completely out of anyones control affecting a decision, how can it be allowed to stand?
There are incidents completely missed by the ref and he has to consult a linesman or the linesman sees something the ref hasn't or the ref has limited vision and misses something and just ignores it.
The whole system is faulted and certain teams used to hassle the F**k out of the ref to get a desired decision....nod nod wink wink.
The quicker sense prevails and these dinosaurs at the FA are fu**ed off the better.

I thought that Fabregas is a world class player, and he's still very young and can reach great things. But after that, I have lost all my respect for him.

Can't believe people are blaming the ref. Clutching for straws. Would Gerrard have scoreed from that second free kick? Most likely he wouldn't. And it was a free kick not a penalty.

**** game, sh*t tactic (defensive-longball), sh*t formation ( 4-4-1 with Gerrard lost somewhere inbetween). No creativity at all yet again, even with maxi on the pitch who had a howler of a game. The amount of really good chances bendtner missed, if arsenal had a half decent striker they would've scored a lot more. This terrible season continues. Was aquilani injured?

No use blaming Fabregas, he is there captain, and did what he could to keep Arsenal with the lead in the last minute. We we're shocking, no creativity, no urgency, we we're good defensivley, but iot's quite clear we we're playing for the draw. And that has pissed me off, playing for a draw when we could of closed the gap to two points, instead we find ourselves 8 behind, with all hope of 3rd gone.

I support Rafa but he needs to stop with the 'do not lose' attitude, look at the mancs last night, they went down to 10 men and went out and still tried to win the game, brought on attacking players and battered Villa in all but the result. I just wish we would go out there and let the opposition worry about us, instead of the other way round. It's boring, and it will never get you a league title if you refuse to ever change your tactics, the formation isn't working without Torres, so why keep at it? All teams know how to deal with it now, man on Gerrard, and sit back and watch us go sideways and backwards, and take your chances when they come.

It is a kneejerk. Jeez what a bunch of contradictory crap.

Funny, we beat that Everton team with TEN F***ing MEN.

      Contradictory crap?

Why is that? Fellani going off was a gift for us. He was a handfull at Goodison. We got lucky and defended exceptionally well. You could argue given the result last night, with Fellani going off they didnt have a plan b.

Feel free to pull up my other points about the decision making.

But he handballed the ball. If he wouldn't have touched the ball, maybe Stevie would have scored.

Have to admit the football we've played in general has been awful this season, the neutrals must turn off the TV when they see it is us playing.

Again last night our plan was just to stop the other team playing and if possible to nick a goal. I wouldn't mind as much if we had got the results this season but we haven't. We play a horrible negative type of football the worst I've seen in a long while from a Liverpool team surely if Rafa attacked more we might have gained more points.

But again against City I expect us to set up shop to stop them playing and maybe nick a goal. I just expect more in an attacking sense from a Liverpool side.
