It's a sport i could really watch but you know, we don't get any coverage here.

I am really into NFL and NBA now that we get more coverage here. Plenty of college football, also. Watching that when i can.

However Vancouver has opened me up to hockey. I love how you can smash a bloke as long as he has a play on the puck

I saw an American get flipped over in the Switzerland game and the commentator said something like 'great block!!' and i thought 'Yep, this is a sport i can watch'.

They show like 2 games a week on Fox Sports, but it's hard to keep track unless like me ya really have a team ya love and follow online a decent amount. Once the playoffs start, that's when they show plenty more games though.

Great though eh? I love that two blokes can beat the sh*t out of each other, and only get a 5 minute penalty I had a drinking game for hockey as well, it's a killer though.. F**ked me up bad!

Happens with me too. We have no NHL coverage here, and it sucks cause its a sport I'd love to watch a lot more, but I still try to follow it a little bit, watching on internet a few games.

Currently I'm not watching any regular season games but when the playoff comes I watch as many as I can on streams. It's much better watching on tv though, for obvious reasons... It's so nice when you can actually see the puck!

Honestly I think Hockey is the single hardest toughest sport. Their are some bone crunching hits in Hockey, every game.  The majority of Hockey players are 6'3-6'5 220+ pounds. Flying around at 20-25 mph on Ice, slamming into wooden and plexiglass boards. 

You usually dont see this level of Hockey until the Stanley Cup...So, this is some of the best I have seen from an International tournament in years.

Have to agree, you have to be prepared every night to go out and potentially get pounded repeatedly and just accept it. Only sport i can think of that comes close is Rugby, just because there is a fair bit of tackling in that and they don't wear any padding. But i still think Hockey shades it. I love it, really do! Considering skipping school tomorrow for the Semi's

Canada won the gold medal in Women's Ice Hockey, beating USA by 2-0 in the final.

Yeah just watched that game. Getting the Silver in this kind of situation in Olympics must be the hardest way I reckon. In years to come you will look back and be proud, but right now all those girls on the US side look shattered!

Hah! Go Canada.

Was a great 1st period for the Canadian ladies. 2 clinical shots to score. She'd be proud as punch to single-handedly win a gold medal for her country over USA.

And the power play fest was incredible! Would of been a massive psychological win after Canada was down 5 to 3 and then scored as soon as they got back to level players.

Yeah once the US didn't score on those 5-on-3s I gave up any realistic hope. Canada played good, full-rink, hockey. Dangerous going forward, solid at the back. Fair play to them, was a good game to watch!

Was anyone else hoping when they started fighting that someone would rush a tub of jelly out there and let them fight in that, whilst ripping the jerseys off each other? Or just me?

What about their controversial celebration with beer and cigars?

I saw that on the LA Times website last night Funny as, really don't see a whole lot wrong with it - they just won a F***ing gold medal! Although driving the zamboni while drinking might have been a stretch..

USA take an early lead! Horrible mistake by the Finnish defense, particularly the goalie.
