That snowboarding was amazing. Whoever that American dude that won it was stunning. Thought he'd break his neck on that last jump.

You probably mean Shaun White? I haven't seen it, but he's by far the best there is.

I think it was. That rings a bell. Amazing double twist upside down hands tied behind his back flip that took the piss.

Did he have a big 'ol Carrot top for hair? If so it was Shaun White, he is simply stunning. Best boarder in the world, watched him a lot. F***ing TV fu**ed up here so i wasn't able to watch, but i love watching him go. Cool dude in interviews as well, funny guy.

The speed skating was pretty funny, took about 4 attempts to start the race because they kept falling into into each other.

Was watching the men doing the half pipe last night and thought they were dead good, White was awesome. After watching the women earlier there's not really a comparison, the men are so much better.

Women's skeleton bob is good that's on at the moment, GB are currently in gold position, go team GB!

USA had a comfortable 6-1 win over Norway in the hockey today. However, Canada v Switzerland, what a game! 2-2, goes to shoot-out where Canada prevail with Crosby finally beating Hiller. Hiller had a monster game though, the only reason the Swiss were really still in the game. He won them a point off his own glove, and made me proud as a Ducks fan to see our newly crowned No. 1 having such a good game against probably the superstar team of the tournament.

Canada looked nervous, Hiller was makin saves "standing on his head"  , he keeps it up and the Swiss may pull off a big upset in the knockout stage. Not sayin they're gonna medal but with a hot goalie they'll be a tough out.

One of those moments where ya sit there and really swell with pride watching that, especially when you are in another country. Watching that from an American broadcast here as well, all the talk was basically that America was gonna take the podium - and although they got the other spots, we gots the gooollllddd!! Didn't see the F***ing gold medal presentation though

Yeah, i mean he made 18 saves in the third, and a total of like 44 i think it was? Against a team with a hell of a lot of shooting stars, i was loving watching thinking thats MY goalie, haha. He does it a lot for the Ducks as well, like a 3-1 win we had in Chicago a couple months back. Just an amazing goalie against the odds. Like i said earlier, he has his 'moments' but they are getting less and less all the time as he grows.

Best thing about the half-pipe was, is when they fell and screwed up, they just smiled and shrugged. Really chilled about it, kinda like "Well, wasn't the best, but im here. Awesome." Just the attitude was top notch, thats how it should always be. Get so pissed off when i see someone finish fourth or fifth and they get really pissy, not worth it.

I have a gripe with the "Great Britain" thing. Why do they get to compete as Great Britain? Seperate countries, yet compete together? Been a gripe of mine for a long time now :D Just wondering if anyone knows the reasoning behind it?

Well done Amy Williams on winning gold at Women's skeleton. It's Britain's first gold at the winter olympics for about 50 years :)

The women won a gold at curling in 2002 but it's the first women's individual gold for 50 years and I think it said the last men's individual gold was 30 years ago.
