Actually they were pretty evenly matched. The difference was the USA got better chances and capitalized on those chances.  3 of the 5 goals came on deflections, so it was a bit of luck also. 

The players for Canada and the US are all top world class players.  Their the best of the best and they all play eachother and even play on the same teams, so they all know eachother and know their weak points and strong points.  This game came down to goal tending.  Brodeur was good, deflections are not shots, their almost impossible to stop or defend.  This match came down to the US keeper Miller.  He was insane. He made so many great saves, that was the deciding factor.

The American ice figure skater who did the Bollywood routine wasn't bad either but not sure if it was the make up.

I thought the hockey match was very tight except the better keeper won it for the Yanks. Canada's was sh*te.
