Was working but heard it was a good day at Geelong. Dunaden mighty impressive for the French trainers ahead of the cup.

Made a killing Saturday. Galah, Title, Satin Shoes (how the hell was it 10 bucks? Thanks for the money), Southern Speed all got up for me. Only lost on two horses.

I have a few i like this weekend.

Karuta Queen in R3 at Caulfield, Rosie's Reward in the last at Randwick and this up and comer called Black Caviar. Value at $1.04.

Nice one mate, where was last Saturdays PM?  ;)

Never heard of this Caviar horse, any good?  :D

Final dividends for Black Caviar were $1.04 the win, $1.01 the place.

      Value.

She won her 15th straight by 6 lengths without being touched.

Just going to turn in now,but will set the recorder for the Melbourne Cup ( off @ 4am ).Selection..A win for UK, Mark Johnson's Fox Hunt. For the simple reason that Silvestre de Sousa takes serious time out from the champion jockey's title race.when he was ONLY three behind scouser Paul Hannagan.(last years champion).

      I had Dunaden.

Backed it to the hilt and was duly rewarded. Was outstanding at Bendigo first up and watched some replays of it and fell in love.

F***ing Red Cadeaux cost me a first four. Did a revised one just minutes before the race and dropped Cadeaux for Moyenne Corniche to run second.

Oh well, can't complain. Won half a years pay in one day.

      You and me both.

I literally stood at the machine putting that first four and i had both Cadeaux and Corniche highlighted to run second and nothing else. I didn't include either of them to run 3rd or 4th because i thought one horse will run a blinder at huge odds to knock most people out of a first four.

After almost 10 minutes of standing there i took Cadeaux out and left Corniche in simply because one had a run in Australia already. Looking back, why didn't i just leave them both in and collect roughly 3.5k :(

Knave of clubs and hollie today at fos las.

Thanks mate for knave of clubs. Only had 50 cents left in my account but put it on and up it came at $19.00. Thankyou mate, had spending money today because of you.

Had a sh*t day today at Flemington, last race of the Spring Carnival, topped off by the fact that I was watching the last race at work, no sound on the tv and was about 10 metres away from the screen. Backed number 1 at cheeky odds just before the race and seen the number 1 hit the line first. Was so happy, saw that it payed $79 then realised that the jockey had is foot over the second number, it was actually 15 that won, the 5 was obscured by his foot   . Got really pissed off and thought F**k it , have 50 cents left again, so put it on a jockey in the last at Sydney, it got up and paid $70 for the win, so $35 in my account now...happy days  ;D

When i have a tip, it's coming your way mate. I don't like to bet after the Cup though. So many good things get beat by $20 shots that you would never bet on.

I might pack it in except for a race here or there or a freak is running like Barakey, Black Caviar or Sepoy or something. Speaking of which, won at $1.20 Barakey but i totally forgot it was running. Would of had thousands on him.

You may have noticed this trainer had 2 runners on Friday and both won, 8/1 and 3/1. Keep the faith.

Let us know when he has something running next mate, I'm in Australia mate so not up to date with the racing scene over there.

I started small but built up a bankroll. I only bet on a few races a week and stick to horses i really like and give me a high chance of winning. Thats why i don't send you a lot of tips, just the handful i like.

If you bet on 15 races a day then your asking to lose money. Sticking to 3 or 4 then your better odds to win, be it 10 bucks or 1000. Every little bit counts.

Ok matey no probs. he has 3 horses entered in the 3.45pm at Lingfield on the 11th November so he is very keen on the race. his horses are jumping out of their skin at the moment. He is only a small stable with a few horses which is what I like.

Cheers will keep a look out in this thread for your tips on the day.

      Absolutely, al.

Gambling is all about odds. Working at a casino, i get to see how the odds play in your favour if you bet wisely. Betting every hand or race or whatever minimises your chances of winning.

For example, you have more chances of winning with one $200 bet compared to 20 $10 bets.

And all about knowing your limits. If you start with $20 and get it to $50, you've made 150% profit which is crazy good regardless of your betting sizes.

Missed it mate, how did they go?

Thanks for the tips but haven't been on the forum for the last 3 days, cheers.
