Annoying Calls From 0845 6021111

I keep getting an automated call from BT on 0845 6021111 about being sent a SMS text message, although its a genuine BT service its a pain in the arse as it sometimes happens 4 or 5 times a night. when I do bother to ring it its never a proper message.

If anyone else is having the same problem and you want to completely stop nuisance calls from this number,

Dial freephone number 0800 5875 252. This is a free automated BT number which allows you to control the curfew times at which you receive text messages from this service.

Press 1 to change from the standard curfew time, then press 5 to stop all messages coming through at any time.

If someone genuinely wants to send a message, they would leave a voice message on your answering machine, or a text message on a mobile number.

We don't even bother answering the phone when an 0845 number rings.

Also, when you're setting up your subscription to porn sites, don't put your phone number in on the registration form.
