About the Transfer board

A Quick Reminder about the Transfer Speculation board

This board should contain threads titled with either:
 
a) a players name and the club they are at

or

b) players possibly leaving Anfield.

This forum is specifically for the latest transfer articles in the media and your thoughts on that players's potential transfer.  When a player has completed their move or gone somewhere else the thread will be locked.  

General discussion on a Liverpool player linked with a move, such as his performance, attitude etc should be in the relevant player thread in the Kop board.

Remember:   If a new thread doesn't begin with a decent news source (and by that I mean proper media - not some of the sensationalist websites) then the thread will be deleted.

Another thing to remember:

If any articles are found quoted directly from The Sun, the article will be immediately removed.  Anybody doing so will receive a ban.

Liverpool fans generally know not to touch that rag with a barge pole, and breaking this rule is just pure ignorance.

With the January transfer window looming, there will inevitably be more and more articles in the press about possible transfers going in and out of our club. However unlikely they might seem! 

To keep things tidy and for the ease of everyone to find specific articles about transfers quickly, please remember the rules of this board which are displayed above.

I think this needs a bump.

In light of some off-topic discussion, it would benefit the forum, and its users, if it were discussed in the relevant area. This would allow for greater discussion on areas some feel need addressing and would assist those who have opinion on that area to find a place to discuss it.

In simple terms:

This forum is specifically for the latest transfer articles in the media and your thoughts on that players's potential transfer.

Since this doesn't seem to have been specifically mentioned, but only implied, the Summer Transfer Board should only contain threads about players rumoured to be joining, or leaving, Liverpool FC.

Any other transfers that interest people enough to be worthy of discussion should go in the General Football Forum.

The transfer board will be closed (hurrah some of you say!) before next Wednesday.

As ever, topic titles will be recorded and topics will be moved in to the either The Kop or the General Football board (depending on whether they signed!)

A list of all the topics that were under discussion will be posted in the Forum Feedback board (so we can dig some of them back out for the excitement of the January Transfer Window!)
