Sterling open to a move! Would you have him back?

Man Utd are welcome to him, Keith !

You'd hate us even more than you do now if we got him.  ;D Much as I don't like the guy personally I still think he has plenty to offer.

You know Liverpool will only ever be looking for the next Sterling, or the next Sancho/Bellingham,
so "No" and for the money he'd cost there are other options over in Dortmund I'd rather have here.

Why would I hate Man United, even more ?? I could not care less where Sterling played next, perhaps Newcastle may sign him, they have plenty of dosh !

That's genreally what happens.  :D Good shout with Newcastle but think Sterling would want ready made club.

I would take him back, he will be 27 in December but only if the price is well below 20M.

I know it is not an opinion that many will agree with.

You are probably right Keith, I was thinking Newcastle would only have to sheikh (shake) the money tree, to afford his financial demands ! Anyhow have a good day.

Where would he fit, though. He’ll want wages too big for him to take Origi’s spot as 5th choice and he shouldn’t play ahead of the other 4.

No. So we can continue singing one greedy b***ard. On a more serious note, he’s probably too selfish to be Klopp type of player.

F***ing Sterling can go F**k himself.
Would rather have Julian Dicks back. And he's 50 something now.

      I’d take him back in a heartbeat…

Proper PR job done on him, was young & misdirected by his agent & the Rodgers documentary scene never helped…

Not many players including Raheem Sterling seem to better themselves, wanting a move away from the club. Come to think of it, I cannot name anyone !

He isn’t better than any of our front 4 and if we were looking to spend that sort of money there will be better out there. He jumped ship - he can rot

Was pissed off at the time he left but he's another one I've mellowed over in recent years. We signed Mane for less a year after Sterling left so we can't complain too much and even though Raheem hasn't won the CL, the fact he has 3 PL titles suggests he came out of the move pretty well too.

Of course at the right wages and fee (which it will never be) it would be a no brainer for any team in the league. I suspect he'll end up moving to Europe though.

Chasing the money rather  than silverware seems to be his  main motive. Glad we did not resign him !

I don't think he'll be pulling up trees at Chelsea. I don't think he's anything to write home about.

Strange move by all 3 parties.

      1. City - gotten rid of their highest scorer behind Aguero since Pep arrived
      2. Sterling - less chance of winning a trophy
      3. Chelsea - His style of play isn’t how Chelsea play. He better get used to playing wing back at times. There’s a reason why Pulisic and Ziyech have been terrible signings for the Chavs, the way they play doesn’t suit players like this.
