      The Ticket Office have released the following advance notice for Benfica v LFC


       UEFA Europa League
      SL Benfica v Liverpool FC
      Thursday 1st April 2010

      Liverpool Football Club will be receiving an allocation of approximately 3000 tickets for this All Ticket fixture price TBC.
      We are awaiting confirmation of our allocation of wheelchair spaces.

      The Club are still waiting to receive the tickets but can confirm that tickets will go on sale to supporters who purchased a ticket for any of the Away Champions League Group Stage matches or Away Europa League matches from season 20009/2010.
      Further details, including dates of sale, will be released as soon as we have them confirmed.

      Supporters can book via our Official Travel Partner Thomas Cook who are operating a daytrip from Liverpool priced at £249 excluding match ticket cost at http://www.thomascooksport.com/Football/Premier-League/Liverpool-FCl or phone 0870 752 0924 for more details.

      Applications will be by telephone, post and window. If applying by post, applicants must complete a European Away Ticket Application Form and the Fan Card number must be quoted. Forms can be obtained from the Ticket Office or downloaded from our website >>

      Credit/debit card details or a cheque made payable to Liverpool Football Club and endorsed not to exceed the maximum value of the highest priced ticket (including Special Delivery fee of £5.65) with return self addressed envelope and a daytime telephone number must also be included. All applications must be received at the Ticket Office by Wednesday 24th March 2010.

      If you wish to collect your tickets from the Ticket Office please state this clearly on your application form. You will be contacted when your tickets are ready to collect.
      All applicants who have not asked to collect their tickets will have them posted by Special Delivery and be charged accordingly (see above).

      Supporters will not be required to provide proof of travel to Lille.

      Liverpool Football Club has received an allocation of 3497 tickets, 1403 lower tier and 2094 upper tier, for this All Ticket fixture priced at £28.50.

      The Club has also received 6 wheelchair and helper tickets priced at £28.50 per pair.


      Selling Arrangements

      Tickets will be allocated as available and for as long as supplies last to qualifying Season Ticket Holders, Corporate Members and Members / Fan Card Holders who meet the following criteria:

      Tickets will initially go on sale on Friday 26th March 2010 to supporters who purchased a ticket for ONE of the Away Champions League Group Stage matches or Away Europa League matches from season 20009/2010.

      It is anticipated that a limited number of tickets will be remaining after the above sale. These will be available by Telephone only to All Season Ticket Holders, Corporate Members and Members / Fan Card Holders from 9.15am to 12pm on Sunday 28th March.


      Telephone Sale

      Tickets will be available on 0844 844 0844 (Overseas (0044) 870 220 2151). Bookings will require all Fan Card numbers to be provided and the applicants address to be confirmed.

      Window Sale

      Supporters must present completed European away application forms and the Fan Cards when applying at the Ticket Office.
      Forms can be obtained from the Ticket Office or downloaded from our website: www.liverpoolfc.tv/tickets.


      Postal Application

      Applicants must complete a European Away Ticket Application Form; the Fan Card number must be quoted, and a return self addressed envelope and a daytime telephone number must also be included. Cheques must be made payable to Liverpool Football Club and include the Special Delivery fee of £5.65 (if applicable). All applications must be received at the Ticket Office by Thursday 25th March 2010.

      If you wish to collect your tickets from the Ticket Office please state this clearly on your application form. You will be contacted when your tickets are ready to collect.
      All applicants who have not asked to collect their tickets will have them posted by Special Delivery and be charged accordingly (see above).

      N.B. There will be no duplicates tickets available for this fixture.

      Please Note: Supporters can purchase one ticket per qualifying Fan Card.
      Supporters can purchase tickets for up to a maximum FOUR qualifying Fan Cards at the Ticket Office window. Supporters wishing to purchase a greater number of tickets MUST apply by postal application.

      IMPORTANT PROOF OF TRAVEL INFORMATION

      Liverpool Football Club is trialling new software that will allow supporters to register their attendance at away European games by swiping their Fan Card; this will remove the requirement for supporters to provide proof of travel. ALL supporters travelling to Benfica must present their Fan Card when requested to; failure to do so may result in the match being removed from your purchase history. The Club would encourage all travelling supporters to arrive at the ground early to allow plenty of time to go through the process. You should still use the match ticket as normal for entry into the stadium.

      N.B. Tickets for future away Europa League matches may be allocated on the basis of using the data from previous away Champions League and Europa League matches from both the current and the previous season.

      No refunds on tickets will be considered after Monday 29th March 2010.

      Dear Liverpool FC supporters,

      The Sport Lisboa e Benfica has the pleasure of welcoming you to Lisbon.

      In order to provide you a pleasant stay in our country for occasion of the match SL Benfica v Liverpool FC on April 1 in the Sport Lisboa e Benfica Stadium, we would like to draw your attention to the following aspects:

      For all football fans who do not have a ticket, unfortunately we must inform you that no further tickets can be bought because all tickets for the match are fully sold out. Do not try to buy any tickets from anywhere other than official ticketing offices.

      Children under 3 years old are not allowed to enter the stadium. All spectators including children above 3 years old need to have a valid entry.

      Please use public transport. You have easy access by subway (exit 'Alto dos Moinhos' or 'Colegio Militar').

      If you want to watch the game from the beginning, we recommend that you set off on time.

      The doors will open at 18.05pm. Please go to the gate in advance.

      Please head towards the following gates through the TV Compound area:

      Gate number 26 - Level 0
      Gate number 28 - Level 3

      Notice: In this area, the ticketing control and the body search procedures will take place immediately before the entrance to the stadium.

      The Liverpool VIP/Sponsors will enter directly to Gate 27 - Level 1.

      Be fair and considerate. It will be quicker if you are calm and careful. Follow the instructions of the police and the security staff.

      Stadium visitors are invited to cooperate with security, by submitting to inspections, body checks and removal of items that are prohibited to use, possess, hold or bring into the stadium on match days (see 'Prohibited Items' below).

      All stadium visitors must occupy only the seat indicated on their ticket and shall access it only via the designated entrance.

      For security reasons and to avert danger, stadium visitors shall move to seats other than those allocated, whether in the same or another section of the stadium, if instructed to do so by the security authorities.

      Fans are encouraged to cheer, sing, and otherwise support their team while remaining respectful and courteous to the players, referees and opposing team fans.

      We will not tolerate disturbances that put safety at risk. For this reason, we will carry out video monitoring and recording, checks and, if necessary, arrests.

      Prohibited Items

      Unless otherwise authorised in writing, stadium visitors and accredited persons are not permitted to use, possess, hold or bring into the stadium the following prohibited items:

      a) weapons of any kind;

      b) anything that could be used as a weapon or to cut, thrust or stab, or as a projectile, in particular long umbrellas and other unwieldy implements;

      c) bottles, cups, jugs or cans of any kind as well as other objects made from PET, glass or any other fragile, non-shatterproof or especially tough material or Tetrapak packaging, hard cooler boxes;

      d) fireworks, flares, smoke powder, smoke canisters, smoke bombs or other pyrotechnics;

      e) alcoholic beverages of any kind, narcotics or stimulants;

      f) racist, xenophobic cause, charity or ideological concern related materials, including but not limited to banners, signs, symbols and leaflets, objects or clothing, which could impair the enjoyment of the event by other spectators, or detract from the sporting focus of the event;

      g) flagpoles or banner poles of any kind. Only flexible plastic poles and so-called double-poles that do not exceed 1 meter in length and 1 cm in diameter and which are not made of inflammable material are permitted;

      h) banners or flags larger than 2m x 1m50. Smaller flags and banners are permitted provided that they are made from material which is deemed "of low flammability" and complies with national regulations and standards;

      i) any sort of animals;

      j) any promotional or commercial, materials, including but not limited to banners, signs, symbols and leaflets, or any kind of promotional or commercial objects, material and clothing;

      k) gas spray cans, corrosive, flammable substances, dyes or receptacles containing substances which are harmful to health or are highly flammable;

      l) unwieldy objects such as ladders, stools, (folding) chairs, boxes, paperboard containers, large bags, rucksacks, suitcases and sports bags. "Unwieldy" is given to mean all objects which are larger than 25cm x 25cm x 25cm and which cannot be stowed under the seat in the stadium;

      m) large quantities of paper and/or rolls of paper;

      n) mechanically-operated instruments which produce an excessive volume of noise such as megaphones, hooters or gas-powered horns. Drums will not be permitted.

      o) laser pointers;

      p) cameras (except for private use and then only with one set of replacement or rechargeable batteries), video cameras or other sound or video recording equipment;

      q) computers or other devices used for the purposes of transmitting or disseminating sound, pictures, descriptions or results of the events via the internet or other forms of media.
