I'm a bass player myself. I'm playing a Warwick Corvette STD. Cost me £575. It was down from £1200 or so. It's my pride and joy. Recently me and a couple of mates have completely stripped Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls to its bare minimum and started again. I'm really excited as to how it's going. Hopefully when it's all done and dusted I'll have it on youtube and I'll share it all with you. So far it sounds brilliant.

Incidentally, the speakers are Everton blue (Celestion Alnico Blue Speakers).

I shall conduct a few tests...

Not sure if I ever posted in this thread but I used to be a decent guitar player. Then at school me and some mates decided to create a band there were too many guitarists so I decided to play the bass, as I had one at home too cause of my older brother. I liked playing but never dedicated much time training though. The kind of music I played with my band was never the same I listened at home, I only done it for fun, during a few years. Maybe that's why I was never the most dedicated member of the band. Since then I've not played anything for ages.

At the moment what I want the most is a piano. Love the instrument and even learned a little bit by myself but I'd really enjoy being good at it. But for that I would need to buy a piano and its quite expensive.

Get a decent keyboard then Diego. It's a step toward. :)

I've been learning a few more bits and bobs of late. Some new stuff (basically all Temper Trap ;)) and some old. No matter what you're into, get learning some old stuff too. :) You'll be shocked at how much you can learn from older songs.

      Finger picking on acoustic.

I've been playing guitar for 4 and a half years and I suddenly became okay at it today. :D

Let me have my moment. ;)

Tried playing bits and pieces of Avenged Sevenfold - Second Heartbeat.

Not really my kind of music but the starting is pretty catchy. Oh my, such a difficult song to play especially the latter parts of the solo.

Yesterday I played my guitar after such a long time. Me and my brother joined two of our cousins to play in a studio for a few hours, it was fun. I was so used to play bass, it was a bit weird to go back to guitar. My brother played bass, one of our cousins sang and the other was the drummer.
