Any songwriting guitarists, a word of advice. Learn the basics on the keys/piano. It is so much easier to write songs on. Now I'm no beginner on keys, but have only just writing songs on the keys (my own personal songs and not for my band as they wouldn't suit) and it just flows so much easier. It may vary from person to person but just try it!
