Looking for somewhere to park up for the match
      Apr 02, 2010 09:56:41 pm
I do apologise if this has been covered before.

Could someone recommend me somewhere to park my van next Thursday for the duration of the match, preferably safe, don't mind paying! Doesn't have to be close to the ground but close to buses to and from the ground is good. We'll be sleeping in the van overnight after the match and I know of somewhere for that but it's a while outside the city so not ideal for parking up for the game.

I've had a look on Google but it's a pain and I'm not sure if any of the car parks are open late at night... If anyone knows of anything please let me know! ;)

The Dockers Club by the ground for parking, 15 minute walk, its running a bit low of funds a the moment so a few reds have been going and parking there, throw a bowl of scouse on also.

You could try Anfield school on Utting Ave opposite Stanley Park,I think it's £8,or just across from the school there is a private car park which charges a 10ner but you have to get in early also both are secure and five mins from the ground and if anyone with you fancies a bevie the Arkles is right on the corner by the Anny road end of the ground. You could also try Butterfild St but parking is limited and watch out for council parking signs.

You can park on my drive if you want -I'm a ten min walk from the stadium - one condition is that you leave your keys with me ;)

TFK You could try the Hanover St multistory it is loccated in the city centre and is an ideal location for you,I think the price for 24hr parking is £11:50 and it has cctv/security,also there is the Capital Car Park in Fazakerly St city centre they charge £12:00 for 24 hrs contact 0151 227 1274,or you can go on line and find out from Parkopedia/Liverpool,hope it's been a help.
