Right - put my bets on. Haven't got a clue like, it's all just pick what I like. Gone for 4 horses, all each way for 1.25 - a total of £10. Here's what I picked and the potential returns in brackets:

      Big Fella Thanks (16.56)
Black Apalachi - 'coz I have it in the sweep! (27.50)
      Cloudy Lane (54.06)
      Comply or Die (27.50)

Wallop. Something like 130 quid when they all come in ;)

I have just threw £50 EW on The Package due to a massive tip from a mates dad. Its at 12/1 so over £600 if it comes in 1st.

      My horses and odds:

      Don't Push It - £2 win = £34 if it wins
Big Fella Thanks - £2 win = £20 if it wins
      Dream Alliance - £1 each way = £43.25 if it wins or £9.25 if 2nd, 3rd or 4th
      Cloudy Lane - £1 each way = £43.25 if it wins or £9.25 if 2nd, 3rd or 4th

One day I want to go a bit mad like that. Good luck!

Cheers mate, I don't usually bet massive like that but I thought why not?!

It's a £100 bet but I make a profit if the horse finishes in the Top 5 so fingers crossed.

I havent got a clue how to work my odds out, my horses are:

      Cloudy Lane  40/1
      The Package 12/1
      Vic Venturi    20/1
      Backstage     25/1

All done £1.00 each way  (last of the big spenders  :lmao:)

And I've got Dream Alliance in our sweep.

Looking forward to this, I love Grand National Day  ;D

Where did you do yours smiggs? I only got 33/1 on Cloudy Lane. I done mine down the Ladbrokes in Broadie.

By the way Danny, if yours comes in, you do know how much I admire your posting abilities and knowledge about LFC on here?  :f_whistle: ;)

Each way is split into 2 bets, (That's why you pay £2). £1 of it goes on the win so for example, if cloudy Lane wins you will get £40 for the £1 you put on.

The 2nd £1 goes on the horse finishing 1st,2nd,3rd or 4th and you will get a quarter of the odds placed so if Cloudy Lane finishes 2nd,3rd or 4th you will get 1/4 of the odds which means you would get £10.

Not sure if you understand that, confused me at 1st ;D.

True that. I am proper looking forward to this race, so are my mates who have bet on the same horse too. It's the only horse race I watch all year round.
