Hmm no Torres what's the situation there?

Good to see Aquilani get a start and Insua not even on the bench.

Really can not see us conceding with that back four.

Maybe he's keeping Torres for the hard games like Atletico or Chelsea.

;D, good old Rafa, Lucas has the game of his life and gets dropped. Nice to see Agger retain left back.

Concerned about Torres though. Hopefully just a rest for his knee.

Insua injured. Got to be the only reason he isn't playing...

Hopefully we smash in a few early, get to rest our main boys and give the youth a run out.

Torres' knee has gone again apparently. Played through it against Birmingham and Benfica. Probably see him back for the Europa League.

Still a strong team, gutted to see Lucas dropped though.

      What happened to Nando?

I know he was limping at the start against Benfica after some harsh tackels but looked okay after that?

Zamora is starting for Fulham. No worries though. Won't get a chance to see our goal.

      It is isn't it.

Aquilani, Gerrard, Maxi, Babel and Ngog in there. The latter with a real chance to silence some critics.

Very attacking line-up. Good to see.

Shame about Torres - I hope he's back soon and it's nothing too serious. Time to step up, David.

      Like the lineup.

Big chance for David up top today. Really hope he takes it.

Lucas gets a well earned rest after his midweek performance

I'm happy with that. Aquilani needs games, regardless of Lucas' performance and you don't drop Masch or Gerrard although Gerrard could probably do with a stint on the sides however with no Torres, Gerrard has to play.

Hope Ngog can build on the performance against Birmingham.

Elated with the line up back line looks well solid.

I expect Babel and Aquilani to link up well. This should be interesting! I wonder if Babel will have a go up front?

      Wouldn't be surprised to see a free-form front 3/4.

Would have preferred Pacheco up top tbh, although NGog could be decent today, he's just inconsistent.
