I am, yeah. My grandad used to come for dinner every Sunday and I'd sit watching John Wayne films with him, he loved them. Prefer Eastwood myself but they were still good films.

I haven't actually tried that yet - but I might do the same later. I'll report back when done, you do the same! :D

Agreed also Repro, Wayne ones are good but nothing beats Clint. Good the Bad and the Ugly is one of the greatest films ever made in my opinion. Unforgiven, Outlaw Josey Wales, Hang 'Em High - and many more. All great westerns.

The western - Red Dwarf - BBC comedy

This wasn't a bad stab at a western either.

(Wicky Wicky) 'Wild Wild West' starring Big Willy Smith is surely the best  :f_tongueincheek:

I actually love that movie, not that its 'good' per say - but just entertaining :D

The song was sick as well!

I know its bad, but its just so bad its good.

And in my defense, i saw it at the cinemas when i was like 10. Everything is good when you're 10! :D

And that song F***ing rocks, almost as much as this one.

On a serious note, I think I'm going to have to get downloading...

Unforgiven, Outlaw Josey Wales, Hang 'Em High

I've seen them all but not for some time.

Sorry to drag you back on topic but as for the game, I didn't really get anywhere last night. I spent most of my time pissing about and wandering around, ;D. Love that slow motion thing you can do in gunfights, make's it easy to shoot them in the hand, foot, nuts... whatever, great fun. I know 7 days isn't going to be anywhere near enough but at least I can then decide whether it's worth grabbing a pre-owned copy.

Played this quite a bit over the last few nights and I'm loving it now. Must admit it took me a while to get into it but now I'm looking forward to finishing my shift so I can have a couple of hours on it.
I love the chases where you have to shoot people off their horses, it's so satisfying ;D. I couldn't resist a smile when I stepped off the saloon balcony straight onto the back of my horse and rode off, I was hoping you could do that.
Anybody tried hog-tying someone and placing them on the train track? I've done it but the train just sat in the station for ages so I need to time it better next time  >:D

Oh and you know the character Seth? I'm convinced his surname must be Neville! :

The game is due back on Thursday and money's so tight I can't really justify renting it again or buying a 2nd hand copy  :(
I'll get back to it one day.

Okay, the test has been done.

      Result?

Nice big burst of blood ;D Is it bad I had a big smile on my face when I did it? :D Funniest thing is it was a guy who run up to me wanting me to get his horse back. Picked a bad time to ask me for help!

Played a bunch of Undead Nightmare tonight as well. Pretty simple game, but its fun just killing zombies - western style.

EDIT: Gotta love the little details in this. Rolling down a desolate road in the middle of the night, and come across a dude taking a piss against a rock. Love it :D

Hahaha, brilliant! I'm going to have to try to do it tonight before I take the game back tomorrow!

Yeah, I've seen that. Wondered what he was doing so walked round to have a look.... 'ohhhhh' ;D

EDIT : I did the train track thing last night, so funny! It's like a vanishing act, one big cloud of blood then the little Mexican fella was gone, ;D.

I also tried leaving someone for the wolves to eat but they decided my horse was a better target.

Yeah the real dark side of me was hoping there'd be littered body pieces everywhere, but oh well :D Still a good laugh!

Now i wanna try that wolves thing too.. or i'll try it with bears. Came across bears for the first time last night. Deadly fuckers them, certainly don't wanna be too casual when riding through those areas!

I've had to drop the game back in at Blockbuster today so that's me done with it for a good while. I'll have to go back to arguing with my mate's Scum fan of a girlfriend on Facebook. Thanks for the help, by the way  :D

      Oh, and no worries ;D
