Only our second away win this year.Very poor first half, then Gerrard grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck in the second half, the outstanding player in a ok performance.

      Things that pleased me today

      Stevie getting a brace
      Maxi getting his first
      Babel getting 1
      Aqualani playing and playing well
      Ayala playing and doing well
      Pacheco getting a run
      Winning 4 nil

      Sums it up nicely mate.

Well done lads, chuffed to bits with the win, my AFL team won unexpectedly, as well, great sporting weekend for me.

Looking forward to the Athletico match now, gonna be another big week in the history of LFC.

      Just seen the goals!

Football continues to serve humour, did you notice the Burnley fans laughing and jeering an Aquilani slip and only to be silenced by Gerrard's subsequent slip. :) :)

      My assessment:

      Aquilani was impressive.
Reina was solid as per usual.

Cara and his partner did their job well.
Gerrard is finding a shift in his gear; Liverpool and England fanswill be excited by this.

Johnson was solid albeit being reluctant to come forward; perhaps with an eye on Thursday.
Kuyt was injured but he seems to be on the road to recovery

Maxi was EXCELLENT and Gerrard hailed his virtues, now that is saying something when an experienced campaigner such as Gerrard is applauding your abilities. Maxi is certainly the real deal

The game was full of MAXImum goals...I could not resist. :)
