What Liverpool Players would you pick in the team of the season ?

We all saw the PFA team off the year last night and it was an absouloute joke. No Reina and no Torres it what team would you pick and what Liverpool players would you have in it ? My team would be

                         Reina

Sanga         Dunne     Vermalen        Evra

Milner         Fabergas   Lampard       Valencia

               Torres      Rooney

I'd love to be able to put more in but unfortunately I can't really see anyone else who could make it. Mascherano has been unreal for us but you rarley see a defensive midfielder in the team especially in front off Fabergas and Lampard.

However, saying that, I'd have him there in front of Fletcher.

reina is the only one - torres has missed a large chunk and gerrard hasnt been as good as he normally is

reina definitely is the only one who would deserve it

Unfortunately it doesn't go off goal to game ratios. It goes off actual goals and facts show Rooney and Drogba have scored more.

Well clearly the team wasnt judged on facts.Why was Hart there so ?,Or Fletcher ? Why wasnt Lampard in the team ? Why wasnt Malouda their since he's played less games and got more goals and assists ? The team does not go of actual goals and facts.

Well according to fellow liverpool supporters on this forum, they think fletcher is more than worthy of his place in the team. Have you actually read my posts because it sounds to me like you don't. I have said that Lampard and Malouda should be in there. I have said that Rooney and Drogba deserve to be there, i have said that Fletcher IMO shouldn't be in the team so you think before you post. I have said the team is wrong and should go off facts and this team doesn't.

I think Reina is the only player who undisputedly deserves a spot in the team.

Only Reina - consistent and reliable.

Though Torres has a very good strike ratio, he just didn't play enough games.

I'd put in Bent and Lampard.
