Always felt like it was a mistake letting this lad go.
Foxes defender Jack Hobbs has picked up a prestigious double at the Leicester City Player of the Year Awards evening.
Hobbs, 21, won the Player of the Year award, voted for by the club's supporters, and shared the Player's Player award with Welsh international midfielder Andy King.
Former Liverpool centre back Hobbs has been in fantastic form for City this year alongside Wayne Brown at the heart of the Foxes' defence and has only missed two league games this term.
It has been quite a couple of seasons for Hobbs at the Walkers Stadium as this double follows up winning the club's Young Player of the Year last season and being included in the League One team of the year.
He spent last season on loan at Leicester helping them get promoted to the Championship before signing for them last year.
Leicester are currently 5th in the Championship and heading for the Premier League play-offs.
Hobbs, as a central defender, has only been booked once this season for them.
