His pressing was really good yesterday.

Pressed for the goal and was tidy.

Been a fan of his from day one. He struggled to play alongside Stevie but he does his job really well and can actually read the game and knows when to take a card for the team.
His problem since his injuries is not his pace he just need 4 or 5 games to get up to speed in reading the game he is the best we have at doing the DM role but give the Captaincy to Milner FFS

His Grandmother died last night and he came out today and gave absolutely everything for us on the pitch, well done Lucas and R.I.P YNWA.

I thought he was excellent too. He got done for pace for the first goal and ought to have blocked the cross, but he was entitled to expect both of a central defender in the John Terry position on the corner of the six yard box, and a striker who was at least token marked in the middle. He was my MOM.

I've been a big defender of Lucas from day one, I still believe that if he had lightning pace, he would be world class!

Enjoy him while you can, because he will be back out in the cold when Henderson is fit. Unless we change from 3 at the back anyway.

Out of any player in the last decade, he would be my pick to manage us one day.

Great to see Lucas doing so well for the side, matured into a typical Liverpool player. Only hope some of the rest are able to follow his example.

Really Rodders? What makes you say that mate? It would be Carra for me like.

Thought he was excellent at doing what Lucas does on Saturday which at the same time frustrates the F**k out of me as we were happy for him to F**k off without any replacement.

Partially some of the rumours I've heard about his footballing knowledge, partially the way he leads on the pitch, without the need for an armband and also the way he has been seen to treat newcomers and youngsters into the squad, on and off the pitch.

Our most consistent and important player at the moment. Any of Coutinho, Brnteke, or Studge could prove to be more important moving forward, but at the moment it's this man. Keep up the good work!!

He's quality isn't he, that's why he's been almost pushed out of the club by our manager who moans about quality even when he was on the pitch. Not to worry though Lucas had his back in his comments to the press afterwards.

Pure class this lad, on and off the pitch.

Only reason I can think why he didn't get it is because Brendan had every intention of selling him until Henderson's injury.
