Although most of us will be happy for the Mancs to miss out, It isn't really any consolation, we aren't Everton and can't be happy with just being bitter towards our most hated rivals.

We should be challenging for the title next season, I was so happy just seeing us in with a shout of winning when it came to may last year. So much needs to be done this summer.

Really gutted. I'll had really liked Liverpool to win today as the fans deserved it. Lots of us stuck through the team thick and thin, really. I was hoping for a mircale in fortunes especially towards the last 10 mins. Unfortunately it didn't materialise. I'm really gutted at the moment and I just want the summer to come quickly so that we can make the necessary signings - Top class ones.

I believe with about 80M to spend we'll clear all the dead wood and we can go on to do well next season, this season has been really frustrating - and the game has just summed it up. No passion, lifeless, injuries, mistakes, everything.

Disappointed.

To be honest im glad we got away with 0-2, only for Pepe it would have been a hiding. And yeah the support wasnt up to much for Rafa and the team, but as far as the team goes theyve got to give the supporters something to work with, that second half was F***ing awful, ok they were probably knackered but still there was enough on that pitch to put a performance in.

Apart from the Aquilani shot that skimmed the crossbar, I can't think of anything that came close or even many attempts.  Terrible second half.  Pepe MOTM again.  Says a lot when our keeper is always getting that vote.  So gutted.

A part of me would have been content with a defeat today if it meant United don't win the league but i would have only been content with it if we had gone down fighting and made Chelsea fight for the win but we went down today as if we were someone like Burnley and just simply rolled over for them.

Spot on with that mate and it does seem like bravado the way we are spouting about the mancs being affected by the result.
