200 Up For Kuyt

Yep, next time we see our Dirk on the pitch for us will be his 200th appearance in a Liverpool shirt.

Despite his critics (and I'm probably one the harshest on him) it's still a great achievement for any player. Can't think of many of his current 199 where he hasn't put in a full shift, always runs his bollocks off for the cause. Might not have the ability of some of our lads but very few have his heart and desire.

A good honest player is our Dirk.

I would like to see him get a run out against Hull to get his 200 games up this season rather than have it prolonged to next year. But whenever he does it, well done Dirk lad.

Terrific servant. By all accounts was close to collapse after his effort on Thursday. People can say he doesn't score enough, well he plays right midfield! And he always steps up on the big occasions.

Not the most talented player in the world and boy does he get some stick but all of it's taken on the chin and he runs himself into the ground week in, week out.

He'll always be remembered for that Dirk - giving everything.

Well in Dirk.

Not the greatest footballer, but I don't know a player who runs harder or who has more desire than him. And even if he isn't that gifted he still scores some F***ing important goals! Probably took the race for fourth to the last few months with those goals earlier in the year.

This is the sort of player a club needs. Liverpool through and through. Shows the passion. Apparently he collapsed in the dressing room after the Atletico games. Fatigue or dissappointment, i dont know. Love this lad. Hope he stays. Not a first-teamer, but a back-up. More of an impact player. His hardwork can really come in handy with 20mins or so left and the opposition are drained out.

Great passion sadly nowhere good enough. Bought as a prolific striker in a weak league, came to Liverpool and has given his best which has merited him with becoming a fixture in squad. Can't get a better squad player. Good record in Europe, which is where he should play for his fortitous goals. Well in Dirk just get some talent now.

Great squad player, never complains and his goals against Tottenham when Stevie and Torres were gone shows he has quality when relied upon. I think at sometimes he just gets lost in the shuffle of the team, but who knows maybe we bring in some wingers/strikers and it opens up his game. Good on ya Kuyt, thanks for the 200 games, and I hope there will be many more!

Funny you say that as our dutch right winger in terms of assists eclipsed that right winger from down the old east lancs road who eventually ran off to Madrid in his high heels and suspenders for 80 million last season.

Well in Durk heres a toast to your 200 game achievement, which with Nando's absence were likely to see against hull played in your natural position.

He may be lacking in certain areas - but 54 goals and 24 assists isn't too bad for 200 games.

He did a great job last season and has never moaned about being moved from up front to the wing.
