Arsenal probably has the best youth system in England but this is just very interesting because it's been quite awhile since an English lad is said to be able to take the world by storm in the future.

In both videos, he's only 16.

He is immense, but hasn't had a whole lot to do at Bolton.

He is obviously talented, but every time I saw him play for Bolton he was such a crying baby, complaining with the refs all the time  >:(

Yeah - if it is true then he should be advised to tone it down. Otherwise he's probably the best English talent to emerge for a good few years.

Wonderful footballer. What a first half display vs. a lesser Spurs side then usual, but still pure quality.

I agree, he was very good last night. Looked like he'd been a first-team regular for years.

The lad sure is somethin special , i watched him play fa youth cup semi last year against Citeh at the Grove and he was so far ahead of anyone else on the pitch . A perfect replacement for Cesc when he pisses off to Barca . A midfield in a few years with these players Ramsey , Wilshere and Song . Not sure about Diaby or Denilson though

Song is so much better though. I reckon everyone complaining about strength in Arsenal's midfield are talking sh*t because Song is just outstanding.

Diaby is still a very good player though.

They way Wilshere plays football should be used a role model for kids football.  It's not about physical dominence, but about skill, technique and a good footballing brain!

To much boys football at local level, is about having the strongest players in terms of physical presence.  it's sh*te, backwards thinking and why our national team has not progressed.  our under 17's always seem to do well, as they are often stronger than the more skillful continental countries, but when there players become adults, skill and technique take over and we get left behind.

Wilshere and Arsenal are setting a good example.  I just wish them and more clubs (particularly Liverpool) could develop players in that way.

Bought him in my FM game

I am amazed with Jack Wilshere. At the same time, I'm embarassed because he's a couple of years younger than me.

It's players like him which are rare. Saw a couple of videos of him and he's amazing. He does have that reckless tackling game in him at times but it's understandable because he is still young and was on loan at Bolton last season.

Much respect must go to Arsene Wenger. He has a real skill in developing players. When Cesc Fabregas was coming through, he was played in matches alongside Patrick Vieira and Dennis Bergkamp in the side. Now, Wilshere is playing alongside Fabregas himself and also with Alex Song.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him feature for England regularly soon and if he stays in Arsenal for a long time, he can be a legend there!

What a wonderful footballer. Looks fine against Chelsea, and has been Arsenal's best player.

Just been watching MOTD and Wilshere was just fantastic for them. He was central to nearly all their chances, and he's just 18.

He still managed to get sent off though!

Didn't Gerrard got a few red cards when he was younger? It's probably just that immaturity.

I think Wilshere is a good player and being on 18, he has his whole career ahead of him. Already made his England debut and so far, a regular in the Arsenal side. There's no better way than to learn from Fabregas and Nasri at Arsenal and Gerrard for England.
