And if the circumstances arent right? So we're loyal to him under our worst season in over a decade but if he doesnt like what he sees he can just walk away.. that is not a good relationship!!
Mate, who in the right mind could blame him for walking away under our current situation. I don't think he will leave and I hope he dosen't. He is the best manager we have had since Kenny Dalglish and he has done a lot for this club (e.g. an FA Cup, a European Cup, and another European Cup final etc). Also, he has led the fight against the owners, spoken publicly about them and given the fans opinion some press. The other thing I would say, and I have said it in other threads, is that if he was to leave, who is seriously going to take the job
I could see some dodgy Yank coach being employed and what would that lead to......further debt, further fall in the league tables and the clubs image being destroyed. You have to remember, it was only a year ago that we were sitting here and talking up our chances of winning the league in the following season as we had just come 2nd place.
