No we f**king never, should of stuck with rafa, there was no f**king need for Purslow to get shut, other than the fact rafa had made him look like a clueless, lying f**king tit.

Project Owl should never have been near our club, never mind manage it!

      This . 100% AGREE .

I remember at the time on another forum certain posters actually thinking that atleast rafa was gone . That was there priority and F**k the consequences.

Thankfully I left before Rafa did or no doubt I might have quietly mentioned something in passing :D

Purslow and Owl. A combination that would have stripped the club all the way to the Championship. Facht. There's a whole group that brought this great club to it's knees. As many argued the matter about Rafa they missed the bigger picture of what was going on. This was brought sharply into focus during Roy's tenure. Thankfully it only put us back a few years and didn't escalate into a Leeds scenario

I think it is important to move forward under Kenny, also nobody should give a Toot about life a year ago under the Owl.

Just a c**t that never should have managed our club.

Doesn't know a good player, insulted players and legends of the club, expectation as low as sh*t and insulted the club and the fans. 35 years of experience of sh*t and face rubbing.

Being a Liverpool fan for the last 10 years, July 2010 to January 8th 2011 was the most difficult and painful time supporting the club. I can't imagine what the older generation of fans that have seen Kenny, Paisley, Fagan and Shankly manage the club must have felt.

This thread is very important IMO & should be read by one & all.
It's very easy to be negative about formation's player's tactic's ect.

But we should all remember where we were just a short few month's ago
& thank ar lucky star's for where we are today.

*shudders* i'm still in constant denial about roy ever having managed us.

it does beggar belief that in just 6 months, the man advertised the class and intelligence of the prestigious job of being an lfc manager with so many memorable quotes.

      some they missed

      "we're overstaffed/understaffed" - enough said
"kenny's a good ambassador, that's what he's good at" - on a man who won league titles and cups for fun as player and manager
"I can't work harder and I can't work better" - you don't say. you know what kenny said when he lost a game? "even down to ten men, we can't accept that and we won't accept that"
"I hope we don't lose 6-0" - before the citeh game

      what a testicle.

Putting Liverpool legend Dalglish in his place, a man who has won more trophies than Hodgson has Premier League away  games in his entire time in England

"I was disappointed –  and I've told him this – that he –  Dalglish – applied for the job in the summer because I don't think that was ever really going to happen for him."

      Unbelievable.

I thought he was quite fitting for that period of our history. Scrotum owners and a literal scrotum manager...and some scrotum players.

      Pyar scrotum era of 2010.

I was just contemplating on the bog - were all the best thinkers do haha.

How big a turnaround for us in the last year. I've been supporting this wonderful club since the start of the 2002/03 season and I've never known us not to be in Europe. It's strange but I know the whole club is going to use that to push on to make sure that don't happen again.

No disrespect to the Apoel's and Genk's - and I know they are only qualifiers but them being involved and potentially fighting it out with the best teams in Europe - look at Odense last night!! And we aren't and it's mental. My Tuesday and Wednesday nights have never been so borinh haha!!

4th place is a minimum and I'm more than confident we'll get at least that.

      Cringe-worthy stuff.

Was brought in to 'steady the ship' and did everything but that.

Extremely glad things worked out in the end and we managed to get in a great manager and a great owner.

The only way is up now. :scarf:
