      Zola Sacked from WHU
      May 11, 2010 11:37:03 am
Just been reported on SSN that that nice little Italian Gianifraco Zola has been sacked.

Shame seems a nice bloke, and we could do with all the points we can get next year.

Can you imagine if Rafa was to do that, he'd get slagged that there wasn't enough milk, sugar or spoons!!

Feel sorry for Zola, a genuinely nice guy and a cracking footballer too.

I was quite disappointed when I seen this earlier, but I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, managers have been sacked for less in the past.

Always rated Zola though. He seems like a top bloke.

Was on the treadmill in the gym earlier watching a debate on SkySports 1 on the England team and it came along the bottom as Breaking News that a Premier League manager had been sacked. I was convinced it was Rafa but had no way of checking. Thank god it wasn't ;D.

Sad to see Zola has been sacked. Such a nice guy and i think in may ways, he has come under a similar situation that our man, Rafa, has. Anyone see him bring the cups of tea out to all the reporters camping outside his house. True gent.

Gianfranco Zola Brings Reporters A Cup Of Coffee

Brought a tear to my eye.

I've always had a massive respect for Zola, because he's the kindest guy you could ever hope to meet (according to my dad).

He's just been sacked, lost his job and the respect of West Ham's owners after an unlucky season... yet he makes the journalists intervieing him about being sacked a cup of coffee - makes them feel right at home.

Massive, massive respect for the man. Poor bugger. Deserved better than that.

Karen Brady was the one who made the decision as far as I'm aware?

But they were going to go behind his back and sell most of the players etc. He should have left before they had the chance to sack him for nothing, without Zola in charge they probably would have gone down to be honest. I know they narrowly escaped the drop but just saying :)
