Had to laugh when i read this from the Guardian On-line transfer rumours.   

"Didier Drogba says he's pondering a move away from Chelsea because he'd quite like to check out the scene in Spain or Italy. Pop that declaration into any online translator and it will likely be rendered thus: 'Dennis Dragbaby quite fancies wangling a salary increase out of his current employers, Zombies Inc."

I think Mr Drogba can see Chelsea's superiority coming to an end and wants out.
So why not tempt the big clubs abroad to see whose interested.

'Mercenary' is the only word that springs to mind.
