Hard to believe he would go for that price, I heard real want him to replace Kaka

I heard that yesterday aswell that Werder will listen to offers for him. He wants out and i think it will be more than £8m as the bidding war starts. We haven't a hope of out bidding City,Chelsea etc so its a no go id say.

20-25 million for him probs. We havn't got the money for him, so this is a pointless thread. He also is happy at Werder Bremen.

He's certainly worth 20+ million. I'd be pissed as hell if another club would get him for anything around 10 million.

All of Europe is after him, why would he pick us with the unstability at the club. I know Cole came but he is English and is fully aware of our history.

Seriously though 8.5 is a ridiculously cheap price for a player of his quality and he has potential to become brilliant.

Reckon he's a bit overrated but a good player nonetheless. He wasn't getting this attention playing for Werder. Still, i'd rather have Joe.

Well, ofcourse he did get alot more exposure because of the world cup crouchinho, but he was already drawing alot of attention before the world cup too, I remember Real and Arsenal etc being linked with him earlier this year too. He had an amazing european championship for under 21 last year, which Germany won, and he had a very solid season at Werder with 9 goals and 14 assists. I don't think he's overrated, he has a big future ahead of him.

I watched him all season and know he is a good player, but some of the prices were ridiculous. He isn't worth 20m+ and i doubt anyone would of paid that for him before the World Cup when, as i said above, he didn't show his best like he did at Werder.

Looks a real prospect doesn't he. His performance in the World cup was a pleasure to watch, even though he was batting for the wrong side

£8.5m - £12m - £13m - £10 <<< They are some of the fees that are being mentioned regarding Ozil. I would have him at Anfield for sure!!
